Hey Everyone,
In today's video, we're going to show you how to install a fully integrated BimmerTech Rear View Camera AND an Apple TV (BimmerTech SmartView HD) in a 2013 F30 BMW 328i. Please note, these kits are available for cars from 2008+/- to current, on our site: www.KiesMotorsports.com

Ive been installing mobile audio since the early 80's and I gotta say Brian is a natural and he has the touch. He is great at the instructional portion as well. Well done.
I am not going to install the back camera or that Apple device but I am still saving this video. This video is excellent in showing on how to remove a lot of parts that very useful for a lot of occasions.

Many thanks for an excellent tutorial - not only did I get the car taken apart, I got it all put back together with a working backup camera & MMI unit. I would not have attempted it without your guidance.

the best way to fit the cabel in the front is on the top part of the door moldings and this way you dont have to remove any plastic trim at all. nice job anyway

Excellent detailed tutorial video. Got me through the install on my f80 m3. The updated bimmertech kits are much easier to install compared to the older ones that required tapping into the harness. The new kits are 100% plug and play. Of course, one tutorial cannot cover every model so use your brain when there’s a slight variation in the install

Hi there. This is one of the best videos I have seen in longtime. You have tried capturing everything from removing the clips, etc. And the Camera quality is excellent. I have a BMW F11 (Touring) and wondered If you have a similar video for adding the reversing camera on a F11 Touring model? Thanks Dave

I'm still surprised how much of a difference my f30 is from you guys in the US My F30 comes with backup camera also most of the stuff I see you guys coded in my M sport already comes with all of them very strange but the Japanese f30 has everything
Yea, TONS of F30s in the USA are very stripped down
Lots are stripped down because the people that buy them new are often sudt concerned with performance.
Many do come with all the latest technology and comforts.

Very nicely done. I’ve seen wireless solutions for minivans and SUVs. You get power from the backup lights for the camera and wireless transmitter. Then there is a receiver attached to the head unit. Is this not possible for BMW? Saves running wires from back to the front of the car

I have a '13 320i that came included with back up camera and I wanted upgrade to the 8.8 screen. would I still need to purchase the MMI unit?

Hi, I did this and now I get a airbag warning on my dash even though I kept the battery disconnected through the entire process. I is possible I connected something wrong or is there a way to reset the airbag?
You need to connect the camera to a reverse detection wire? E.g reverse light wire?

Hey i know I’m late to the video, question, if I’m only installing the backup camera, do i have to do the steps concerning taking out the idrive screen and configurations the video output cables and whatnot? I watched a video that they put out but it was 5 years old and they didn’t stay that step was needed, I’m not sure if it’s an updated tutorial or unit but could you let me know!

I’m installing my bimmertech camera right now and I’m at the part where you flip the switches to tell the car that there is a camera back there (2015 BMW M4 F82) I see that the on switch is on, and number 8 is switched down.
Where can you store the LVDS Module? I have a large screen with a large module. Does the camera box not fit?

Well don’t in the Eu they come with backup cameras as standard. Also from 2019 I think that all American cars must have them too.

Ive put new wheels on my f31 but I cant get the tpms valves to register with the idrive. The new wheels have new bmw tpms valves fitted but I just can't get them to work. Any help?

My f30 has carplay wifi... everything looks stock except for a USB by the drivers legs coming out the trim... no idea how it works but the wifi is always there.
