Certainly doable! Just make sure you write down the notes instead of learning this piece straight from the video. Makes the learning process much easier and you'll actually see that this piece repeats itself quite often with slight variations. But I won't spoil too much... Good luck!
I’ve been playing piano for about 7 years now and this song took me about two weeks to master completely, and i’ve played many hard pieces but none have compared to how fun and emotional this song is! You can add so much variation by just knowing the basics! Definitely in my top 5 favorite songs that I have learned thus far, good work!
This is my goal now! As a beginner, I was truly immersed in this performance. Thanks for this. The day I play this, I will consider that I have done a great job. See you all in a few years.
I had never seen a comment with strong spirit to learn this art. I'm from Perú and I believe that each word like this can motivate other people to improve their skills and accomplish their dreams and goals. Sorry for my English, I have been triying to speak better
@@Cristian-gn2bs Gracias Cristian. Your English is perfect. I actually speak some Spanish. Llevo 6 años aprendiendo español y uno de mis amigos vive en Perú. Gracias por subir tu comentario y acordarme de ese amigo. Y que bueno te pueda motivar con mis palabras
I would recommend practising easier pieces and basic piano skills(though it may be boring) In the long run, you will not regret it as you will learn it easier
@@Noodle966 I want to learn the basics too but with so little time I have for keyboard practice, the results I have might not sustainable but deep down I know I should go with basics
After a few days of practicing (about 15 hours total) I finally made it to 2:18 and I just realized how easy he makes it look 🥲 I can’t get over how far apart the notes are, it makes it really hard to hit the notes accurately at the correct speed. This is the first piano song I’ve ever learned so I just hope with practice I can get this part down.
@@ToothBrush531 your fingers will adjust quickly even if you are a beginner. the more you play those far notes the more comfortable it gets. every day it gets easier and easier . the brain learns fast as hell. im currently practicing a mozart piece after only one year of piano experience. i just put everything into muscle memory and then that's it. i almost finished the piece
it get's really hard at 3:50. I have 7 years experience but i guess this piece will take me about 100 hours practice to play it at this speed without mistakes
Started 3 months ago with the Piano and got it! Played it in front of the school, with some mistakes but im Pretty happy. Learned About 2-3 Hours a day and thought it would take me a year at least.

I love this song soooooooo much! I play piano too but I improvise and kompose my own songs on piano trombone and at the computer. Which software do you use to convert the notes into midi and then get them in this beautiful graphic?
after 3 years of being self taught i think imma do this looks kinda mediocre to play especially since alot of things are synchronized so maybe take a week or 2 to finish
After 2 months practicing the piano (self-taught) today I'll start learning this song I don't care how many hours or days it takes but I will learn it
Good luck bro, definitely achievable I have about 50% of the song down
U can do it, believe in you

@@lukegader5211 same, I’ve been at this song for about 1 month now
how's your progress so far?
Hans Zimmer is a genius, he can make the music fit the scene and enhance the experience.

wow the first song ever and doing this is mad impressive
@@mimilan1593 haha I’m still stuck at the same part several days later. I’m slowly getting better at this sequence so eventually I’ll be able to do it

Amazingly done. You picked the most beautiful piece of music to play, and I appreciate it. Cannot believe hans zimmer got snubbed in the Oscars....
I learned this from the Patrik Pietschmann video and I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say the sheer emotion you get from playing is unmatched
