    Thank you so much for making these kind of videos! As a beginner in pattern drafting, these really in-depth videos are SO incredibly helpful!

    Omg this is eye opening and I have really enjoyed watching these three episodes! Very good introduction to analysing and cloning an image!

    Hello, does a shawl collar need an collar roll like the lapel jacket?

      It depends on how you cut it - it normally has a roll, but you can also make it sit much flatter by increasing the outer edge

    PS can I please ask you scrap the felt tip pen - the sound it makes on the paper is giving me the goosebumps and I can't mute the video 😲

    Dear Charlotta, the tutorial is really good and well explained but as I am a begginer it was quite difficult for me to understand.😳I wanted to know how to make this lapel revere collar that you constructed here.Please make a separate video for that.Directly making the pattern without reffering the manequin drape.I hope you understand what I want ro say.😮

      Thank you for your comment!
      We’ve done this video more as guide on how to draft a whole pattern from start to finish, but we’re working on some more in depth courses which we launch soon.

    This is not the houte couture way nor the actually way to get that volume on the hip
    Very bad pattern making

      Thank you for your comment, you’re quite right, my way of adding volume in this video is nowhere close to Haute Couture modéliste techniques or an exact copy of the bar jacket. It is to show a quick way of adding some volume to your first toile to try out how much you need.

      Amateur here, the original jacket had multiple panels from shoulder to hip, wouldn’t it be easier to recreate it that way, instead of darts? I’ve not watched next video, so you may have done so.
      Great video, ++ skill.
