I stumbled on your channel and subscribed right away! I've been dying to attempt drafting a version of the bar suit but had no clue where to begin. Now I'm going to be up all night watching ALL of your videos!!!

Hi Christy, Thank you got subscribing and I’m so glad you like our videos.
The bar suit is so beautiful, and my videos are only an attempt to re create using pattern cutting rather than haute couture, but hopefully it’ll give you some ideas on how to draft it. Our new drafting video for this Saturday is actually about how you can make a fake tailored collar using the shawl collar method, so that might come in helpful for the bar suit.

Great video, i just want to know what holds the peplum cut this way? Is it the type of the fabric , or the lining? Or there is some sort of material between the fabric and the lining?
