Feel free to come mining again anytime Ben…you sure did bring the luck with you. Unearthed Australian Opal enjoyed having you along for a night of Opal Mining. Well done
I really enjoyed Ben’s video of the Australian outback town of Cooper Pedy - I could not help thinking of the film “Priscilla Queen of The Desert” when I was watching it - and even to be in the same country that gave the world Kylie Minogue was amazing too ❤
Love Paul's dry humor (which is understandable) and Michael (who looks a bit like Beardyman) had such a cool vibe. He was a great walking PR for the town of Coober Pedy. However......the flies, jesus the flies. 🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰
I only watched this video because I heard my partner and baby were in it, now watching it, I remember you talking to my partner while I was working haha. You did a good job with the video and am glad you liked our quirky little town!
I live in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, and i've meant to go up to Coober Pedy for such a long time. I've been to a few mines in SA and they're all really mindblowing. This makes me want to go even more! Great vid
My hometown, I grew up in Coober Pedy. I left in 2001 but still consider it home. My father moved to Coober Pedy from Greece In 1960 and was home to him for a long time. Can’t wait to go back.
Good man to visit a small Aussie outback town and showcase it. I was bought up in a small Aussie town - great (lil eccentric lol) people and community.
lol, there’s a whole suburb in Sydney where the whole population are housed underground….. it’s called Rookwood 😊. The flys in Outback South Australia are legend, from about Port Augusta to Katherine in the NT the first thing you learn is the Aussie wave.
We stayed a few days in Coober Pedy when my kids were young. All adults now they still will tell you that when we checked into our motel, the owner gave them solo cups to trap the bugs in our room. The bugs were so big, all night long you heard the bugs crawling around each under a plastic cup. Good memories. .
Paul😅😅❤ the community was beautiful and so were the opals. When i see people just enjoy each other it makes me wish i was like that. Enjoyed watching. Ty
I love seeing Mr. Ben Morris living his best life! Missed out on a few years but I'm glad you're still pursuing your dreams. You're definitely one of the good ones 😅 you're a keeper haha 👀
Thanks for this great video, Im australian but have never been to Coober Pedy but it looks so good, love the bush, the red dirt and the great community of totally real geuine people, they are very blessed.
The strange switch I’m feeling being from south Australia, living in London, watching this in London, a video of a RUclipsr I follow being in south Australia hahaha
I hope you release more content Ben, you're my first ever vlog type youtuber I started to watch and enjoy the every day passion of travelling and meeting new people, cultures and really embracing life before technology ❤ but if it wasn't for technology I wouldn't be lucky enough to encounter your amazing content so keep up the good work your real fans love you ❤
Went Coober Pedy about 30 years ago. Didn't stay overnight but visited a family who lived underground. When they wanted another room they just dug one. Great place.
We live in andamooka sa another opal mining place that comes with flies 😂..paul was awesome and loved his humour ..your such a character and love this video..thankyou for the tour 😊
I remember when I was 15yrs old in 89 I wa catching a bus to Adelaide we made a stop at Cooper paddy at night it was a shock seeing the town it was something out of the twilight zone

Great video tour. I'm in the UK but would love to visit sometime. Looks like somewhere I would love to spend some time in. I wonder what challenges are living there? Do they have TV or internet? Thanks again. Keith
ive been to coober pedy twice. I live in adelaide so Ive driven there i didnt even know there was an airport lol. Anyway it was amazing and the locals were so lovely
Ben I really enjoyed this video - I kept thinking of the film “Priscilla Queen of The Desert” when I was watching it - and to be in the same country that gave the world Kylie Minogue is also amazing too, as I’m a huge Kylie fan ❤
I thought of Coober Pedy on the spot after reading the video's title, while "Priscilla..." did not showcase the underground accomodations, I read somewhere of an underground hotel (located there) with vents to the surface and upside-down umbrellas to catch dust.
It’s amazing watching this very likeable guy do close ups as he talks. He doesn’t move his upper lip, but his lower jaw works furiously to make up for what is quintessentially the stiff upper lip. I guess that’s being British.
I would love it. Think about it you save money on heat and a c. You save money on building material. And if they allow it you can personalize your house or room.
Live a simple and peaceful life that will give you the true meaning of life🇵🇭 but it's hard if you're not used to it. But the people who live thete, i salute them🙇🏼♂
You have the same last name as me, so I guess I should watch this, lol. Homes made of rock are so beautiful... At some point in my life, I want to live in the desert.
Feel free to come mining again anytime Ben…you sure did bring the luck with you. Unearthed Australian Opal enjoyed having you along for a night of Opal Mining. Well done
Cheers Dan, it was a great time!
I really enjoyed Ben’s video of the Australian outback town of Cooper Pedy - I could not help thinking of the film “Priscilla Queen of The Desert” when I was watching it - and even to be in the same country that gave the world Kylie Minogue was amazing too ❤
Opal mining deserves a full doc style video!!
Hello do u have Snapchat or instagram I’d love to follow
I love how friendly everyone was - Paul was hilarious.
Great video as always!
Glad you enjoyed 😁😁
Paul hates humans on the planet he said. He knows what to do then
"i always go to the creeks and catch lizards"
The most Australian kid ever.
😂😂
Kids in small towns in Australia still get around on bikes and play outside
Love Paul's dry humor (which is understandable) and Michael (who looks a bit like Beardyman) had such a cool vibe. He was a great walking PR for the town of Coober Pedy. However......the flies, jesus the flies. 🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰
The flies were terrible I don’t know how they do it
I only watched this video because I heard my partner and baby were in it, now watching it, I remember you talking to my partner while I was working haha. You did a good job with the video and am glad you liked our quirky little town!

Most people in the outback of Australia are very kind and welcoming.
15:45 not the faded blue ribbon ice cream container, i swear they are our version of biscuit tins
Thanks for this great video, Im australian but have never been to Coober Pedy but it looks so good, love the bush, the red dirt and the great community of totally real geuine people, they are very blessed.
Paul's personality is stellar 😭😭🔥.

There's some underground houses in Alaska too, more like south of Anchorage.
Who else thought the dog was driving 😂😂😂
It does look like that 😂
They drive on the left side
So the driver was on the right side
Never underestimate the skills of a dog.
Did NO ONE else notice what the bird said after the “Welcome to the Shooters Club” at 15:18 😂🦜 lmfaooo 😭🤣
That wasn’t the bird. That’s a meme.
Ben is the most underrated youtuber out there!
Yay please visit more of our country! So cool
Paul definitely hitting on Ben a little haha
"what do you think about the unssolved murders around here?" - " didn't happen to me, don't care" 😂
“I didn’t mean to mis-bird her” - 😂
Omg it’s so like it was in Prescilla Queen of the Desert. Did no one mention that there ? Scarey kinda place tho. Great vlog Ben. Best wishes.

Fun Fact - Season 2 of the Amazing Race visited Coober Pedy and one of the roadblocks was to play a round of golf at the Golf Course
"Have a look at at our beautiful.. nothing" LOL idk why that made me laugh lol
It’s amazing watching this very likeable guy do close ups as he talks. He doesn’t move his upper lip, but his lower jaw works furiously to make up for what is quintessentially the stiff upper lip. I guess that’s being British.

If you’re still in South Australia! I’ll be happy to show your around man :)
Okkkay beard!! It looks good!
I love how u said woman & he gently corrected you saying WOMEN is a strong word what a gentleman
Did anyone else look at the thumb nail and wonder why it looks like the bed has abs
Nope lol. It looked like a quilted blanket 😂
Live a simple and peaceful life that will give you the true meaning of life🇵🇭 but it's hard if you're not used to it. But the people who live thete, i salute them🙇🏼♂
Great vlog! Those flies though😢😅, it's like bougie cave living 👌🏾.

Love your videos just wish you would post a bit more and I could listen to you all day long
That part of Australia is almost identical to the Northern end of the San Joaquin Valley! Its hot boring and out in the middle of no where!! 😮😮😮
Great video! Interesting place. I love the simple life. Paul was funny.
I love this vid and the person who says - everything is treasure here
You have the same last name as me, so I guess I should watch this, lol. Homes made of rock are so beautiful... At some point in my life, I want to live in the desert.
I clicked the vid so fast after seeing the title... I was thinking, I wonder if it's like Coober Pedy. Went there in 2007!
If your in Australia you should visit border village and the world's smallest time zone
It seems like a suck close nit community, the town looks so cool!
Stayed for a few days in Cooper back in 1998!
