99 percent of these guys are more concerned with looking cool rather than running proper routes while also utilizing appropriate footwork. Also, some of these guys do have talent but it's extremely unpolished.
Jeffo'n Spikes DB's are use to having help.. They don't usually cover receivers by themselves for too long... If it's a short route than they will sometimes get help from the LB's or the nickel backs, but if is a deeper route than they have the safeties to help out... These 1 on 1's are really designed to showcase the receiver's skills and their route running ability.
man it sucks Dallas kids in this video aren't going anywhere. they trying as hard as they can and its not effortless looking.. it looks like this is the best they will ever get.. unfortunate
where's the speed? compared to other opens these WRs are slow. before people say I'm hating, I am a huge Oklahoma Sooner fan and this is where most of our talent comes from. so I'm concerned. also I am a former arena league player and current Coach. I know what I am talking about.
moji ayorinde some of them are good bcuz im play against some of them in tx it just real hard to go one on one with a wr and plus these wr's have some shifty routes if you ask me
The biggest problem for the DBs is that they keep doing that stupid back pedal which is the dumbest thing a DB can do when covering a WR. It will always leave you out of position to make a play
SUPERSPORTS There's only so much these kids can learn in high school... Even the best talent in the country mainly survives high school by pure superior athleticism... They really don't learn the good fundamentals until the get in college... These DB's don't have good fundamentals because they don't go up against good receivers like these every single week during the season.
after 5 years...
Tyrie Cleveland, Devin Duvernay, Antoine Winfield Jr, Cameron Dantzler, Quartney Davis, Jeff Okudah, AJ Green, all pros now
Hol up! Antoine Winfield jr, I had to stop the vid and look youngin up real quick lol. His pops was a beast.
That Eric coffee boy got the best technique and skill set out of the db's I think he'll be good at the next level he def got the potential
THIS WAS POSTED ON MY BIRTHDAY A YEAR AGO!!!

Does the receiver and the qb have a preset route or does the wr make it up in play

What level are the DB's in this video? (i.e are they likely Division 1 Athletes?)
holy shit cameraman zoom out please?
i liked it when they caught the ball
I couldn't learn much from the DB's...
SOME of the wide receivers ran some shifty nice routes. The DB's were just.....not prepared for this amount of talent .
Jeffo'n Spikes You should watch Dwayne Frampton. He teaches very great foot work, and hip movement which some didn't have.

Those "crap" dbs are about a full second or two faster than you. #starttraining
+Timothy Norris I do train because I'm on the track team... And of course I know they're faster than me

What is up with these shitty throwing Qb's?
QB's throwin like shit hahaha
These dBs need some coaching....but it's a win win for the wr with no other positions on tha field
These db's need SERIOUS work.

+SUPERSPORTS Really? Aren't you always supposed to back pedal and keep the wr in front of you until you have to turn your hips and run with them?
Declan Ward
Nobody does that who knows what they are doing

A.J Green, funny because he's a WR for the bengals (not the same dude of course)
