Time enough for you perhaps. But what will you do with it." and break out of the mind control and slash at sephiroth(I kind of think that what sephiroth wants this time around). But I think this will play right into sephiroth's hands in some way because he doesn't want her to die since he now knows she'll cast holy when does dead

Red XIII called FF7 OG the bad ending. And fate is no longer forcing the same events to transpire. Saving Aerith is the only reason why I could see them doing all this. Some have suggested give the player hope to save her so her death will hurt you so much more but that would be cruel in my opinion. Giving you hope to literally destroy it and make it hurt even more when there are so many who been waiting for Cloud and Aerith to finally have a happy ending. Cloud and fans have been waiting over 20 years for the chance to save Aerith. After all this time they really do deserve a happy ending.

You no longer have the option of giving Marlene the yellow flower from Aerith. It goes straight to Tifa. They removed the jail scene. Cloud now remembers the promise between him and Tifa, unlike in the OG. One of the scenes with Cloud, now focuses more on her ex boyfriend Zack. Then there's the scene with Zack near the end of the first part of the remake.
