If someone is going to abuse or neglect an animal, then they shouldn’t have pets at all. Pets are just as big of a responsibility as having a child, if not more.

The best thing of having dogs is when you get home from a long day and dont matter how your day was they are there waiting for you and to greet you with so much love that all your stress or bad day all goes away

I really think having another dog in the home helps a lot in cases like this. The terrified foster dog can see that you are nice and love your dog, and can see what behavior is allowed, and learn new things that they haven't experienced by watching your dog. 💝

She is so blessed to have been saved by this sweet lady. I fostered a Lhasa Apsos that had been kept in a barn and bred repeatedly. It took her two weeks to leave her kennel in my kitchen. She was terrified. Fast forward. A lady many states away who owns a doggy daycare adopted her and she is in heaven. It just fills me with joy when they get a second chance at life.
Thank you for saving this sweet girl. The owners should be ashamed of themselves. I hope Karma finds them.

You don't know a stray dog's background. It must not have been very good since she was so skittish and very matted. She definitely needed rescuing even though she didn't realize it. Thankfully, the kind stranger, and now, new owner, was very understanding and patient. It paid off. Both lives were enriched, the sweet homeless doggie and her new owner. What a sweet story that we all can learn from.
It's so crazy how different doodles look between clean-shaven and poofy! They look like completely different dogs! She's very pretty.
