It’s impressive! I hope you never tear down this playhouse! Very neat, I can’t imagine half of the electrical components but the building I get so it’s fun watching you as you go along! Attention to detail is all over this playhouse. Amazing
Great Start in my Saturday to see a new Video. Realy cool how simple you made this fantastic real looking Things. Cant wait to see the wen you do the Fassade... Hugs and Greetz from Munich, MARiO 🦄
Absolutely amazing. I love ghostbusters and I love this playhouse. 💙🚫👻 I would love to see a video tour when finished through a pov experience like a roller coaster vibe by going down the slides etc and looking around. 🎥 🎢🎠🎡 That would be so fun! Fingers crossed..... But not the streams 😉
Okay, color me impressed. Harrison even knows the correct procedure to contain all those vapors, entities, and slimers for long-term storage. Best parents ever.
I tell ya. Harrison is one lucky kid to have a father that has such a fantastic talent on building anything & making it come to life or look like that real thing!! Chris your definitely awesome. Jeana too.
wow i mean just wow that is by far one of the coolest things ive every seen. I wish i could be a kid again just so i could play with out all the weird looks lol well done sir well done indeed.
Been building an ECU myself on&off for a couple years now. This actually gives me the inspiration to finish the thing! I love that you didnt stick entirely to "100% movie accuracy", I always find that boring and stressful. In fact, I'd say I think I prefer it this way, as a sort of mashup between the movie & the animated series. Love this build!
That's awesome Oz I hope you can get your finished soon. My hats off to those who strive for the 100% its rewarding to be sure but harder to do. I have a tuff enough time finishing everything I start so its good for me to not try to do that. I'm still going to add a couple things to it but I have a firehouse to finish. Thanks for the feedback 😃👍
Wow! Didn't expect so much detail on the containment unit but then again it's you guy's doing what you do best. Fantastic job. I've loved watching this build. Can't wait to see more.
The haunted house facade you guys built a few years ago has always been my favorite project of yours.....until I saw this containment unit. What an incredible feat of engineering. Awesome build!!!
Unbelievable! I think you guys have outdone yourselves. I feel like the attention to detail, and the depth you’re going into has to rival, the real set production from the movie. Wow
Thanks Ryan you know I feel that way about most of these props I see that movie fans make. I can tell you many times the fans do have way more attention to detail than the original prop maker. They often times busted something out with whatever and made stuff work off camera and through editing and now people try and replicate these things and really make them work. It's amazing and so much fun. Thanks again man I appreciate it. 👍
Chris You're building skills are just so mad taking construction material plus household items and creating something just so unique very nice to see that you have five fingers on each hand unless you have a 3D copy for one of your fingers
Thank you very much Christian. There were so many great examples out there of the original prop that others have done incorporating the RGB one really made it fun for me to make. Still have to put some finishing touches on it like the white square on the door and others said I should try and make the gauge move, add sound etc. I guess a person could keep messing with it forever. Hahaha so much other things to work on. thanks again
I love that you went for a RGB, Movie hybrid for the containment unit. The best I had was the Kenner toy ECU as a kid I’d have loved to had this. I’ve been toying with the idea of building one my self but got so many unfinished projects I can’t start another.
I hear you Robert too many projects. 😲 The mash up made it fun but I couldn't decide on how I wanted the door. I really like the way the RGB door slid out instead. But if I did that it made me just want to make it like the cartoon altogether. Its a fun project if you do ever get around to making one. thanks 😃👍
Wow!!!!! Chris/Jeana, I live in indiana and in the children's museums, I don't even think there is anything interactive that compares for the kids to play with. To say it looks incredible is an understatement. Love it. Keep it up.
Thanks that's awesome Scott, you know I have seen more and more impressive interactive kid lands and museums pop up. They are starting to really step them up to where I want to play. Thanks again!
This is the most awesome video you guys have put out yet! You’re kid is so lucky to have such great parents that would make him something this amazing.
@@HollywoodHaunter you're very welcome I was very impressed with what all you've done and built and you definitely inspired me to want to at least build a containment unit and how possibly could go about it so thank you very much and I love your videos
Oh I forgot to mention that I have an extra Ghostbusters ribbon cable for proton pack if you or anyone might be interested in it I'd be happy to send it from where I built a full size proton pack the other ribbon cable that I have left over I plan to use on my nephews Spirit Halloween pack that I plan to get him for Christmas but I have two extra room and cables one of them I'll be happy to send my email address is go4holland@gmail.com
@@HollywoodHaunter Honestly with the quality job you guys are making...... It will be well worth the effort. This would be my dream to have this. Keep up the amazing work. 👍
Your attention to detail is always amazing to me, this thing is just incredible. I've really enjoyed these build videos so far and look forward to seeing what other touches you'll be adding.
Hey guys! This build just keeps getting better! You could fix the problem with those LED's just by getting a sheet of Frost Filter gel. Something like a Hollywood frost (no pun intended). Just stick it to the back of the glass, and you may have to move the LED's further back so they don't hot-spot. You'll get a nice soft glow. So many things can be done with frost filters and gels, I think a lot of people using LED lights these days kinda forget some of the old theater lighting tricks can still be used.
Thanks for the suggestions. We have a ton of different gels so we will definitely try that. If I move them back farther I will need to make separate spaces because its all open and the light leaks over to the other lenses. Just have to mess with it again some more. Thanks again 😃👍
@@HollywoodHaunter ahh yeah light leak! Hmm, ok, maybe a toilet roll tube or something can block that. I'm sure you'll find a creative way of doing it. Looking forward to the next video :)
Harrison's over there living the childhood I wish I had... When I was his age, I had to attach a fallen tree branch to my school backpack with yarn to pretend it was a proton pack and pretend a battered old lunchbox my mom got at a yardsale was a ghost trap. Granted, I don't necessarily regret having to use my imagination like that, as developing those imaginative skills have helped me immensely in my adult life, but I would have killed for movie-accurate play props like this too. EDIT: also, it's perfectly fine that this isn't a 100% 1:1 replica and that you made some changes/mistakes when building it. One of the key aspects from the movies in terms of design aesthetics was that the prop builders wanted the equipment to feel like Egon and Ray cobbled their equipment together from whatever they had on hand or could find at junk shops, flea markets and thrift stores on the cheap, so by "making do" with what you have or could find is completely keeping in that spirit (pun so much intended) of guerilla garage building.
Thanks man, Our son is alot like that aswell content with just playing with an empty cardboard box using just his imagination. A huge parent bonus for me is reliving those days you described with him and getting to add some special touches. Its a blast! 😃👊👍

Grade 8 bolts are expensive! Amazon sells silicone ice cube trays that are hex heads you can fill with resin to make lightweight bolt heads. Its a really beautiful piece. Walter Peck would be proud!
Thanks Dan I enjoy making stuff and figuring out what may work and seeing it take shape. Its weird though how after a certain amount of time tinkering I lose interest and want to move to the next thing before it's completely finished.
