I took Scottish Power to court a few years ago, I lost the original case in magistrates court as they flew down their legal manager at the time who was Laura Pacevitch - she either deliberately misled the court or was incredibly incompetent given her title- once I realised I took it to appeal and subsequently won - it would have no doubt cost them a five figure sum and the initial claim was less than 500 quid and by their own admission the whole case was resulting from their original error
Ah, the same company who threatened to send in debt collectors and take me to court for an unpaid bill, at a property I have never owned or had anything to do with. So I told them that permission to enter my drive way was conditional Ona. £500 fee per person and that any letter I had to reply to would be billed at £50 each. They wrote to me so I replied and enclosed an invoice. When it wasn’t paid I gave final notice prior to small claims proceedings. They sent a cheque and I heard nothing more. 👍

I took Scottish Power to court a few years ago, I lost the original case in magistrates court as they flew down their legal manager at the time who was Laura Pacevitch - she either deliberately misled the court or was incredibly incompetent given her title- once I realised I took it to appeal and subsequently won - it would have no doubt cost them a five figure sum and the initial claim was less than 500 quid and by their own admission the whole case was resulting from their original error
Ah, the same company who threatened to send in debt collectors and take me to court for an unpaid bill, at a property I have never owned or had anything to do with. So I told them that permission to enter my drive way was conditional Ona. £500 fee per person and that any letter I had to reply to would be billed at £50 each. They wrote to me so I replied and enclosed an invoice. When it wasn’t paid I gave final notice prior to small claims proceedings. They sent a cheque and I heard nothing more. 👍

I don't understand why people have to be aggressive when they are being filmed.
They are happy to be monitored by street cameras, council workers with bodycams and on CCTV etc.
