I think if anything you've shown over and over that gear isn't what matters and you should use whatever you want. I like that you're always trying new stuff out and showing what makes it cool but never a hater or an evangelist. It's very healthy.
djay pro is world class - but more large controllers like the rane four or flex 10 need to be supported
I have used my flx6 with djay on my iPad Air no worries, it works great
Denon is still better
I have the same setup at home 2x cdj 3000 and djm 750mk2 mixer. I have one question. Why dont #Pioneer make a usb record port just like they do on many of the all in one unets like XDJ-XZ ?
Much love Luke. I used to love dropping Hot Hot Hotter back in the day. Music moves on and so did my taste so I don't play it any more but it was a banger in its time. You seem like a humble guy despite your long career and huge success. I like that the vlogs seem so down to earth and not just on the hype waggon. Keep it up, I'll keep tuned in!

Hey Luke, me being a DJ who works/beat matches with visual representation of wave forms and not exactly counting beats on the headphones was not offered a job at a club, i was wondering if you had any tricks and tips of how exactly to beat match without looking at the CDj's or the waveforms in general. Thank you :)
Cover your screens or move your laptop out of the way and practice...I learned on vinyl so I had no choice but to use my ears... If you know how to count beats you'll be fine
I would also advise to make sure what you are mixing is not the exact same BPM. Maybe range +/- 10 BPM on the tracks. I learned on tracks that were 100-130 BPM on 1200's.

Should've stood his ground and got the Denon gear in there. Pioneer gear feels like it's the 90s again...
There's a reason that Denon is not "industry standard". Go 'head and spit all your BS stats and shit that doesn't matter; the simple FACT is that Pioneer DJ is just BETTER. Peace.
I have owned both. Sold my Pioneer stuff to get Denon because in most real life situations the Denon is a better product.
The integration of Tidal, Beatport and Soundcloud is incredible for most DJs. This alone makes the Denon equipment better.

150 pounds is a lot of money for that course as a broke dj thats hard to swallow

Luke, you're my guy, but you jumping around with different gear is losing me. Help...
Its not the car, its the driver. Likewise its the DJ, not the equipment. Luke can mix using a typewriter if he wanted to.
Who cares what he uses. The same principles of djing apply to all dj gear.
@@MM-lo8dn I care and the this is not always true. How might you do a back spin? How might you set a loop or correct a beat grid on the fly? How do you nudge a track when it falls out of phase? Vendors have completely different ways of tightening a loop. Gear sometimes matters.
