- Part 2 of the Bequest Globe ending of Drowned God.
Game Description:
The story behind Drowned God takes place under the notion that the human race was genetically engineered by god-like aliens that even guided us through history by nudging civilization forward with certain artifacts of power. Four of those artifacts (The Ark of the Covenant, The Philosopher's Stone, The Rod of Osiris and the Holy Grail) are now lost and they are the key to unlocking a series of mysteries that somehow tie up practically every conspiracy theory from the Knights Templar to the Illuminati. It is up to you now to gather this artifacts and solve the mysteries as you are sent through time and space from an alternate dimension reminiscent of earth. Игры
You know, I've played this game, and I've watched the playthroughs, and I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND IT.
the kether ending tells you that the world is on a path to a police state to deal with the unending chaos and that the conspiracies are all lies and that the world just is out of control and will become controlled in a police state
the malchut ending tells you that genetic human modification will be forced to avoid chaos and that we will all be less human and without the same sort of feeling
this bequest gllobe ending though... i guess its telling us that aliens will come invade and that the conspiracies are all true
@@psychoticgiraffe And when you consider the various pronouncements of both Kether and Malchut themselves, the hypocrisy of both seems positively...human.
As for the "Legion" ending, well, they merely promise that they're 'coming'. They say nothing of invasion, or subjugation, or really anything of their real intentions. That's left to our respective imaginations (which likely aren't up to comprehending the intentions of a truly alien race).
For the record, the game was originally supposed to have nine unique endings to the game, one for each of the numbers generated at the start of the game. God alone knows what any of them would've appeared as.
@@psychoticgiraffe i once fell asleep in my bedroom and then dreamt that a grey alien was standing in my bedroom. The grey alien held its arms straight up above its head, and shook them around in the air. The dream lasted about 1 or 2 seconds and then I woke up. Weird dream, eh? I know what I saw. Weird dream....
@@godisreal2537 Same bro. That was over 10 years ago for me. Around July 2007.
@@YankeePendragon Choosing exclusively Kether or Malkuth goes against the Teachings, which were As Above, So Below. To pick one or the other could be an example of extremism, and yes, totally Human.
"We are Legion" is another way of saying we are Demons. It's a Biblical reference about Jesus performing an exorcism, which totally fits with the spirit of this game. The implications being that Humanity screwed things up and the "Drowned God" is coming to fix things itself.
Worth noting that it is not a spooky ending. Demonic in this case meaning Anti-Established Religion. Aliens would likely appear Demonic to folks who don't believe in the supernatural, so it's very open to interpretation. In contrast, Malkuth also says "We are Legion", and that ending promises a future of Humans constrained to pods; a positively Hellish outcome.
Thanks for uploading this.
I wish this game had been just a little more clear. Kether ending is a technological police state, Malchut ending looks like another police state, but with genetic engineering?
Ayylien ending is...aliens?
***** That's sad. The game raises so many interesting questions to think about, but provides no answers in the context of the actual game.
The game was incomplete at time of release. The fourth world, Chokmah, was going to be expanded upon in the sequel "Drowned God: Cult". Alas, Inscape folded a week after this game's release and its production was such a trial that the writer decided against pursuing it. More's the pity.
"We are coming. And we are legion. You may return to us in a time of revelation. We will wait for you." Lines delivered with such matter-of-fact monotone, you can't help but get chills. And if this was the best possible outcome...well, look who got elected in November 2016.
The only good president in decades.
@@LoftOfTheUniverse We're going to leave that one alone, okay?
@@YankeePendragon why because we have a vegetable doing arts and crafts in the White House these days?
@@LoftOfTheUniverse No, because this isn't an appropriate forum for such a discussion.
@@YankeePendragon seems relevant with totalitarian themes going on.
Very interesting game, thank you for uploading.
Well, the youtube comments are almost as incomprehensible as this game's endings.
Feel like I stumbled into the wrong neighborhood in the middle of the night, and ended up at a party anyway. Well, it's been fun. Keep weird!
Omg. To hell with this crazy game, have you guys seen the nut jobs in the comments section? I'm grabbing the popcorn.
rave the light fantastic........ people who know will know....
You're up there with the guy who accused me of being Satan and said he'd kill me at Stonehenge, man. It's like, "Huh, I wonder what he's gonna accuse me of being responsible for today!" It's awesome.
Also, I know you don't like me, and I haven't given you much reason to, but I'd like a question answered as sincerely and comprehensibly as possible. How and when did you arrive at the conclusion that this conspiracy existed?
yeah right....... the tactic is to lay low to avoid friction...... well it doesnt work anymore woman!
I'm sorry- is that goddamn Alan Rickman? It sounds like him, but I can't find a cast list anywhere.
There is a cast list in the end credits but it’s hard to read and it goes by fast so you have to pause it. I’m pretty sure this is a guy named Anthony Jackson cause he voiced half the cast and his name is listed above the other VAs.
how old is kissinger? answer me this question./.....
old enough to know, young enough to do it anyways. There, happy?
J.A.M for life by the way.
Yeah well the Jewish Airship Mafia needs to make vampires seem less intimidating after all how else will they slowly convert people to them using mind control rays and pills. HOW ELSE?!
but yeah you too. i don't know if this is some elaborate troll attempt or you're some sort of magificient prophetic acid casualty but you are the best/most entertaining thing i've encountered on the internet and everything you have posted in this little debate in some adventure game's comment section is gold.
gold and silverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Does Alan Rickman narrate the final credits?
Sounds more like David Warner.
I think it’s a guy named Anthony Jackson.
how?when?why?what? lets say it was a dream and forget about it....lol
Are you familiar with the saying "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence"?
Yes. I also don't buy into insane claims unless the person making them is willing to provide evidence that outweighs what I currently believe. It's called being a rational person. Now, if I instantly bought into what you were saying because I trusted it on a "gut" level and asked for no proof? That's being a sheep. All you've done is admit, directly, that you feel like you don't have any proof for what you're saying. But hey, any evidence I could trace back to a citeable source is just fake, ya?
i,m lazy...... its hot ..... u still havent answered how old is kissinger and how can he still be alive... i'm passing on so much info... and u say nada... u tin can!
Obviously because he is working for the Jewish Conspiracy or tricked by them just like everything else in life that bothers you, keeps you down, or wants solid proof for your incomprehensible ravings.
So this is the good ending?
"Good" is a highly relative term. Kether and Melchut both clearly believe that (respectively) a surveillance state or one of forced genetic modification is preferable to the unending chaos of this world. And who isn't to say they have a point?
but what does this ending mean? the other two at least attempted to make sense, police state or genetic modification state vs aliens will invade?
Yes. Unlike the other two, it does not give you the fool card that suggests you chose poorly.
@@psychoticgiraffe That there's a third party beyond Kether and Melchut, and they promise they are 'coming'. That could mean they are en route to our planet, or that our species will ultimately evolve (somehow) into them, or that they're already here and will reveal themselves to us.
Or it could mean something completely beyond our ability to comprehend. After all, can a line comprehend the fact its a circle when viewed from a different angle?
@@Jengaaa21 The Fool is actually considered among the most potent and powerful card in the Major Arcana, precisely because he's just at the start of a journey, untethered by past errors. If anything, its appearance at the end of the Kether and Melchut endings could be seen to suggest the player's falling into those traps heralds the impending end of Kether/Melchut's designs.
hahaha..... u know i'm right.......... anyway kisses, enjoy summer and swimming.... that is if you are not a vampire prolonging your lifespan by eating babies or something.... you made vampirism mainstream now.... fantastic....cain will be after u soon.......lol
...... smart people can work out the truth behind the lies..... but anyway... i m not anxious to prove anything... things started moving .... are u a male? are u presentable? lol.... are u a rebel? do u want to live the real life? guess u dont
i didnt undersatnd this ending! sorry... whats with the aliens?
I'm convinced whoever wrote this just jammed random words together to create madness but I want to give him a little credit that there's enough of a pattern to the madness to imply some actual meaning. But I think that's a lie because anything specific about this game sounds like a fever dream. It sounds alot more meaningful if you're vague about it's endings.
get a boyfriend:P named "mitsos "
Or, oh, let me guess. The entire scientific method (hypothesis, testing, theory, open to change if new evidence comes up...) is actually a way that the Jewish/female plot obscures men from understanding the real truth. That's what you believe, and that's what you're going to say. Because you need to have that one thing to blame for all the shit that's happened in the world. And you need to feel like you know the truth, therefore you have POWER over that one thing.
