I imagine some people still don’t quite understand how the last game Shunsui and Starrk played works so let me explain. So in the game, Irooni(AKA Colorful Demon) both parties need to announce a color to cut on their opponents as long as they have that color exposed on their body. The goal is to deal as much damage as possible onto your opponent. You do this by yelling a color that you also happen to have on your body that is exposed as well. The more of that color you have, the more damage you’ll deal and the less of that color will deal less damage. That’s what Shunsui means by, “the more riskier the color is to you, the more damage you deal.” When Shunsui started the game by announcing the color grey, he attacked Starrk’s grey sleeve. Now even though Starrk felt like his arm was going to be chopped off by the amount of force Shunsui swung, he only received a small cut. The reason for that is, Shunsui didn’t have any grey anywhere on his body so the game forces his attack to deal as little as damage as possible no matter how hard he swung down his sword. Starrk immediately figured out the rules and attacked with white, since white is the color that they would both take the most damage with. This is why Shunsui told him, “You guessed correctly.” Shunsui then changes this by catching Starrk off guard, with throwing his white Captain’s haori in front of Starrk, revealing him wearing a shihakushō that’s entirely black. This means if he were to attack any area that’s black on Starrk’s body, Shunsui would deal maximum damage. And that’s exactly what he did when he went for Starrk’s hollow hole. Hopefully, this made sense.
I think Kubo made it pretty obvious. He likes to do "show don't tell" sometimes.

Starrk, over than be a natural born Arrancar, was also one of the most "perfect", being really close to a human being, but with this also come his emotional side, more emphasized compared to the rest, as except for Harribel and Nelliel, we can say the other Espadas didn't really care of comrades, not even of their subordinates, not being shaken just like him. Starrk wasn't a cold killing machine like Ulquiorra either, he didn't have any battle lust or a real reason to fight, he was just strong, power and loneliness, ending to be a good guy among the bad guys, definitely my favorite Espada. Anyway, I can't hate Shunsui (on contrary, he's my favorite Bleach character), his pragmatism is correct, honor won't save the world, in war everyone is wrong, there are no rules,only a fool would pass up an opportunity for morality, and in sense, you can count it as payback for the shot he took before (rip Ukitake). It's a bit sad that no one used bankai against Starrk, he who wanted to see one, yet he was the only Espada who fought 4 captains (in pairs and in a row), without suffering a real hit, if not when emotionally shaken or treacherously attacked, also Kyoraku is one of the strongest captains in Bleach, so that's fine, very sad, but fine.
Harribel's backstory is anime original, but it's good. Disappointing that her fight, after the ice break out, went nowhere, but that's it. Approaching the climax 🔥
i still like the idea/theory that lilinett is the "Main" body and stark is the piece that was split off

Starrk and Nnoitora are a bit similar but very different motives and views. Starrk wants to be weak and be in a group so he won’t fight but rather stay back and let other strong people handle while Nnoitora wants to be alone and wants to be the strongest guy alive so he could fight a worthy opponent to take his life. Starrk wants other to be there with him and for him, he doesn’t want to be the superior one but rather the inferior or weak one while Nnoitora doesn’t want nobody to care about or for him since people sees him as an inferior being and wants to prove that he’s superior to everyone. Starrk has a good and charming behavior so people like him and cares for him while Nnoitora has a trash and bad attitude so people hate him and doesn’t want to care for him at all. Starrk also wanted to join Aizen so he could find people as strong as him and sees them as friends while Nnoitora says he only joined Aizen for his own need to get stronger and more power and also don’t care the slightest about his group (maybe except Nel at the end) My 2 absolute favorite bleach characters
And in alternate history we see Kyoraku and Stark sitting in a garden, drinking sake, watching cherry blossoms.

Barragan was recruited much later than Haribel. Starrk was recruited after Aizen defected from Soul Society and Haribel was recruited before Aizen defected officially from Soul Society showing his true colors to everybody.
Aizen was wearing glasses when he recruit Barragan. When he recruit Harribel, he had his new look. Also that arrancar that attacked Harribel was from Barragan's army and Aizen said he gave him power. It seems like Barragan was recruited before Harribel.
