One first needs to survive the first strike, and then you have less time, maybe half a lifetime on average, for the second strike to occur. So perhaps the odds of the second bolt is 1 in 30000. Maybe the chance of that second strike is less than that of striking it rich!😊
You are only assuming that people only buy one ticket. The people I know that play the lottery buy multiple numbers, multiple times a week. And is that my odds at getting struck by lightning in my life time? Because I only have one life but I could play the lottery as many times as I want.
