What I love about this album that is different from the rest of Gospel songs is.... This song is a direct reflection of how God's own (not the world but the who KNOW him) and treat him this way!!! Although I could not identify with all just one was too much!!! These lyrics and arrangement brings about a state of repentance!!!!

I'm glad I know what this song mean now. I thought when she was talking about a blue God I thought she mean a blue god that was our false god, a god we idolize that we put before the true living God Jehovah. But the song is really about us not truly giving ourselves to Him and Him being a blue God meaning it sincerely hurts and saddens Him that we reject Him. God delights in mercy not judgement.
God our God is always rescuing us from the rain. Forgive us from our short comings Lord. For me need you to remain in our lives Forever. Forgive us of how we ask you to do a certain thing for us then we put you on the back burner until we then again "need" you. Your so incredible, amazing, remarkable Jesus & there is NONE LIKE YOU! I know this for myself, Miraculous you are! So please once again Forgive your children of our sins, FOR WE ALL FALL SHORT & WE ARE NOT PERFECT! Your love for us in so unconditional. Thank you! Amen

People, no more like immature Christians, would dismiss this song because it wouldn't fit in their set list for praise and worship. This is some sit down and listen in your house while you meditating (or rather repenting after you this song) type music. Really reflective music that points us to truly glorify God the way He's suppose to be.
Just got her album as a Christmas gift and love it. This is my fav song on the album. I love that her songs on the album isn't all in the traditional gospel style there is some soul, jazz, and funk. I really enjoy listening.
jus saw ms reedy at C-ROOM Atl last nite, your voice was sent straight from the heavens..this is by far the most amazing gospel artist of my time. Her spirit is so humble, she will go far in the Industry...ANNOINTED & APPOINTED...great personality & soooo humble(i gotta say that again!!) Jessica's songs are so powerful and heartfelt you can tell that they could've only came through someone with scars and a relationship with God himself. Jesus her songs sends chills and makes you think and that's what music is missing. I don't know why she's so underrated, but I pray that God gives her a song that puts her on the top of the charts and gives her the top recognition she deserves.
