Pro Tip: If you're having problem equipping heavy armor without blowing a ton of levels on Endurance, you can get an amazing talisman by doing the Pot God's miniquest. Found by going to the Sofria River Well grace in Caelid (accessed by getting to the far end elevator in Sofria River), you can travel to the end of a chasm in Caelid to stand in front of the great Pot God. Then there will be 3 red summon signs nearby that if you beat each one without traveling/resting at grace, you will be rewarded with a talisman that greatly boosts your carry weight.

Hey heads up, for the Lusat set it does indeed matter if you help her. If you do not help her you are effectively locked out of obtaining both available armor sets. So yeah, if you’re interested in this set make sure you side with her.
You guys forgot about the ronin set (Yura’s set). The clothes are ok at best but that iron samurai hat is cool af. The hat is called “iron kasa”. It’s looks cooler if you wear the iron kasa with the white reed armor set. Coolest samurai look in the game imo

Night Cavalry Set. Found after killing the two Night Cavalry Knights escorting a wagon after you complete the blizzard puzzle on the way to Ordina at night. Easy to range them and kit them towards the grace so the aggro level resets and they stop attacking. Feels kinda like being the Witch-King of Angmar or Batman. You know this game is super popular and amazing right now hence they’ve uploaded like 5-10 videos about elden rings since it came out. They’ve never done that with any other game that I can think of.
Love the tree sentinel armor you get from a hero’s grave in the royal capital you can either go through the entire area or use one of the boss shackles (margit morgot whoever’s) to set off the flame pillar in another room and you’ll destroy 3 chariots giving you the armor set and an ash of war that would be good for a paladin build

The luset mage armor, you can also get the azur armor the same way. Both are available from that quest completion. Not sure if that one offers similar benefits though
For those who dont know if you don't meet Great Horned Tragoth before fighting the Demonic Tree Sentenal you can summon him for that fight, he comes in clutch for that fight, just know for me I died twice to the Demonic tree sentinal, then he shows up as a summon.

For the Lusat and Azur armor, you actually have to side with Sellen. I went against her and the armors never became available, I believe that's because when you side with her she gets their bodies back to academy (that's what she says) and their armors are left behind.
Hozlow's armor set is by far my favorite one. Ya get it from the 3rd Flame manor bounty quest, so It's pretty easy to get. But maaan It looks so good I tend to skip helmet though, or use the Eyepatch along with it.
Night Calvary Armor would have been another good mention. Also I love the description Godskin Apostle set, I wear it just because of how awesome it feels in a faith/fire build.
for sure, weight to defence ratio has to be the best in the game. I use the grieves and bracers exclusively and change up by chest piece and helmet depending on where I am and who is coming for me. I like the Tree Sentinel chest piece, it is heavy but has awesome stats and the surcoat is so pretty.
I'm rocking the Omen set dropped by Dung Eater. It's one of the heaviest sets, but looks like an Oion Knight set left in the ocean for a few years, covered in rust and barnacles, but the almost look like big teeth. Wild set, and it doesn't clip through tower shields like the super wide brimmed one above.
I was thinking of using his armour but decided I wanted him as a summon instead so I miss out unfortunately but I think the summon is the better option
Armor is important in Elden Ring as poise stat is back. Most armor sets won't ever be used as there will be a poise threshold meta. The first threshold is at poise 55 or 50 I think, and that will not stager you from straight swords and below weapons. The next tier is at poise 100 I believe, and that will not stager you from halberd type and below weapons. There should be more poise thresholds higher but for the most part any armor sets that at least doesn't get you to the 50 threshold should not be used unless you are using it for stat reasons. But you will be staggered by all weapon r1 attacks.
Rotten duelist greaves & rotten gravekeeper cloak ( altered ) on my female character looks perfect. Stat wise ain't that great buy hey its fashion souls.
Notice that during Sellen quest , if you choose to betray her in order to get the dragon smithing stone, you wont be able to get Lusat's armor set. Basically the same thing with Millicent's quest : different rewards regarding your choice of siding or betraying her.
About the black knife set: the muffling footsteps effect is replicated by the crepes vial, which is actually even better in terms of sound. If you don’t like the set and want to wear something else, you should use that. I believe you can get it from one of the black knife assassins in Altus.
To get Lusat and azurs set from the sellen quest YOU HAVE TO SIDE WITH HER AT THE END, if you choose the other option you lose both sets I’ve lost them on my first character like this
Using the Greathelm with the rest of of Beast Champion armor (chest, arms legs) is a great combo for those of us wanting to role play a high ranking Crusader/ Paladin.
The Royal Remains set is my favorite, it just looks dope as hell and is easy to get. Just get the one half of the medallion from the dude hiding in the jar and then go to the Roundtable and Ensha will attack and you just gotta beat his ass and it'll be where he was leaning against the wall like a douche earlier.
Same here! I got it by accident too. I’m new to souls games, and I was eyeing that skull helmet when he was friendly. I didn’t even know it was a possibility 😂. Found out, and haven’t took it off since.
For the black knife armor all you need to wear is just the chest piece for the quiet footsteps. The gauntlets and greaves say they do that, but they don’t at all.
1) Lightning resistance is LOWER than any other resistance. Try it out, respec and put 99 in faith and then in other stat that give resistance and you will see that the rest is 224 while lightning resistance is at 150... BUG? 2) Armor defense does not properly increase your numbers on your stat sheet. I tried it out of a lot of Armor and I can say with 100% certainty that your Armor stats are higher than your character's stat sheet. Example: 4/4 Bull-goat armor should give Phy 45 but on my stat sheet my Phy is 39... BUG?
Tragoth isn't the only one you can summon to help you. if you solo the game, you can summon NPCs to fight boss's if you've done enough of their quest depending on the boss. Like Rogier will help you fight Margit.
Inside the lake if rot you can get the mushroom crown, it's heavier than the normal headpiece but has higher immunity. Also you can get the azure dude armour by going back to him aswell
0:37 yeah I instantly farmed for this set after finding this enemy, the set is just THAT cool. 8:08 That reminds me, who IS the 3rd npc that is there and doesn't speak but just gives you an emote? A woman in red with a glowing hand. I never found her outside of that place, we never got to learn her name and she never spoke a word, cut questline, dlc?
I think it's a puppet belonging to Selvius. When you find the "cellar" and confront him, he gives you the choice to choose between two puppet summons. One of them, a finger maiden, has the exact same armour set and also throws holy pots and does AOE heals. Since she doesn't talk when we meet her before the radhan fight, and also because Blaidd is there as well, I think it is Selvius sending help for the big fight.
I've found almost all of these on my own, surprisingly. The rest I don't have yet because I'm still working on NPC quest lines. I've only recently made it to Leyndell, so taking my sweet time with the game.
The best is when you can combine armor sets and still make them look good like I combine malikeths and blaidds armor with blaidds being the head and chest piece and malikeths being the gauntlets and grieves and it just works really well
A good video have most of the stuff mentioned here but also missed some really good ones. Time find the rest of the armour before starting the second journey.

Example: 4/4 Bull-goat armor should give Phy 45 but on my stat sheet my Phy is 39... BUG?
Dude I’ve been jumping from Eldren Ring to WWE 2k22 and man I love them both lol
I love the royal guard armour. Looks very much like the armour from the white guard in Minas Tirith in LotR
Tragoth isn't the only one you can summon to help you. if you solo the game, you can summon NPCs to fight boss's if you've done enough of their quest depending on the boss. Like Rogier will help you fight Margit.
Not the hardest to get, but both crucible knight armors are dope and offer good protection
I've been using the Banished Knight set (altered). I'll probably beat the game in it. It's my favorite and overall pretty good (heavy though).
The stats are super hard to beat and it's honestly a drip. Plus all the work grinding for the whole set deserves some use.
After D and Fias quust when you give the armor to his brother, you can actually reload the final area passing some time and get the armor back.
Tree sentinel and Crucible knight armor sets can both be found in Azuiras Hero Grave and both are heavy armors with stylish looks
Blackflame monk armor set - the dude you fight right in front of where you get the godskin apostle set. That set straight DRIPS.
The Carian Knight Set and the Albinauric set are also two of my favs
the nights calvary set is the sickest easily, classic souls fans will love it
I've been running around in the mushroom suit with a different face though. Mainly because it gave the most focus points at the time I equiped it.
The Luminary Mohg robes with the rest of the Radahn set looks really nice.
@senni bgon it looks like the scaled armor set... a heavier knight set. Lighter than Radahn though.
0:34 i'm sorry, that made me laugh idk why 🤣🤣
Beast Champion is a great heavy set you can run right past early game
Inside the lake if rot you can get the mushroom crown, it's heavier than the normal headpiece but has higher immunity. Also you can get the azure dude armour by going back to him aswell
Hitting that random wall made me laugh far more than it should of 😂😂
0:37 yeah I instantly farmed for this set after finding this enemy, the set is just THAT cool.
Seems like everyday i find something else I’ve missed in elden ring no souls or borne game has hooked me like this.
I've found almost all of these on my own, surprisingly. The rest I don't have yet because I'm still working on NPC quest lines. I've only recently made it to Leyndell, so taking my sweet time with the game.
That spell casting armour looked pretty badass I'll have to go looking for it.
I’ve been rolling with the Black Knife for my Dex/Faith build. Kind of a lightning assassin. Super fun!
If you do the lusat quest line, after you get his armour go to where Azur was and you can also loot his armour set aswell
Damn gameranx is killing it with elden ring content keep uploading those maidenless videos good job guys
Tree sentinel is one of my favorite armor sets.
Incredibly surprised that FROM did not incorporate microtransactions for cosmetics or exp boost. Much Respect. Such an incredible game, with so much content.
