Would Charlotte ever consider a charity fundraiser ride on Tidal wave? 😂 I recon Merlin would allow on-ride filming if it was for a special reason. Haha
Heard from a friend who works with Merlin that they were planning for Colossus to be open by April, however the reason it was delayed in reopening was because they received the part and put it in place, only to find out it was manufactured wrong! The size was just out!
Got back from Thorpe Park today and had my first ride on The Swarm, wow, what a great smooth coaster, loved every second of it. Colossus however was so rough. I found it to be a real ear basher. Not my first time on it either. And finally, Nemesis Inferno was such a pleasure to ride on, I had forgotten how good that ride is.
Went on Wednesday and to my luck colossus opened the next day. However, its better than never and im happy its finally open. The quality of ride on saw I find to be random, had 3 rides when i went, first was the smoothest ride i've ever had on it but the next 2 were some of the worst, I think you're right about temperature affecting it a lot so i reckon it's the first ride you should do in the park to ride it before the heat builds up
It was this time last year that I met you at Mardi Gras, feels like yesterday! I'll be back at Thorpe in 3 weeks to get on Ghost Train. Hope I get this weather so I can lap Tidal Wave a few times.

Only 10 minutes in so can't comment much on the content, other than I love the excitement evident in this one and the last Alton towers one for upcoming USA trip, can't wait for those vlogs to start 😊
Id like to see a day of the dead themed event like mexican day of the dead celebration around the park i think woukd fit really well at Thopre Park and maybe Alton Towers and possibly Chessington World of Adventures
It’s good to see that Colossus is back open because I was looking forward to riding it when I visit Thorpe Park this summer. Can’t wait for the USA trip guys!
We did Thorpe park last Sunday and managed 3 rides on stealth back to back and 3 rides on swarm too it was busy but surprisingly not too longer queues. I love stealth we did it front row for the first time it was amazing!!
Went to Thorpe Park a few days ago and the operations are WAY BETTER! They leave no seat empty and they have way more staff allowing for faster restraint checks. The park was busy, but the highest queue I saw all day was 45mins...
Amazing video. We have different opinions but that's absolutely fine 😊 I don't want to go to Colossus anymore. I hit my head and ears a lot. There is a huge difference between Colossus and Swarm. Swarm is amazing because we fly, we don't feel any pain. It was my favourite ride! The Saw is really good as well. I loved it!
Anyone else think considering it's such a small park that Thorpe Park could potentially really benefit from having 1 really good theme that covered the whole park? The various sections of the park that share the Amity themes are all really well done. If they could could replace angry birds land with something else Amity themed and then expand it to the area where the mega shop and the games are I think that could work awesomely
Another great catch up from Thorpe Park - so much done on a day of beautiful weather too. Confused with the B & J pricing, 2 scoops was 2.88 at Chessington on Saturday with AP disc so must be 3.60 normally, Surprised it was so different there, but you found the better deal anyhow, will you be needing picnics in the US and trying to save on car parking as both are often pretty expensive over there aren't they?
Fab vlog again both. I haven't been to this Park before so enjoyed watching. I love it when it's not too busy and there's little wait time so you can fit more in or do multiple rides. Witnessed a horrendous accident on the rumba rapid ride when I was a teen. I've never found it logged anywhere. The kid jumped the bridge and his feet got sucked under the turntable going under the bridge. Lots of blood and screaming! They then put up barriers and health and safety notices.
@@ThemeParkWorldwide the lad wasn't even on the ride yet. He was Infront in the queue but obviously got bored waiting so thought he'd skip the queue and climb over the bridge into the turntable
Shaun I had 3 rides on Saw in late April, one cold early morning and 2 at 3pm in rain, and it's honestly the second worst coaster I've ever ridden, it was so rough it almost but not quite took the title from mid 90's ride of Crazy Loop at Flamingo land. I don't think excess heat has anything to do with how rough that is riding this season 🤕

Great video you two. As always...😊 About Rush, I recently saw a video from The US of one of those rides but it was absolutely huge. A lot bigger than Thorpe Parks. Can't remember what park and maybe you saw it? So they still seem to manufacturer them. That one looked very intense and sure it was hitting nearly 70 mph at the bottom of its swing. Looking forward to you America road trip. Can't wait ❤
Never been to any UK theme park other than alton towers, hope to go to thorpe park sometime! This year i am going to towers to go on rita, sub terra and curse at alton manor in the summer. Next year I will also go to towers to go on Nemesis and possibly the smiler and oblivion. Maybe in 2025 i will go somewhere else like thorpe park or blackpool pleasure beach?
Funnily enough that tanoy at 18:00 reminded me of when this guy doing the throughputs couldn’t pull my restraints over properly and set it was a faulty seat and just said good luck, but in a bit of concern I just stayed because it was mostly over me. I was skinny as well so I had to hold on otherwise I could’ve been fucked istg, it was a fair gap, I’m not being a dramatic gp.
@@ThemeParkWorldwide nah it was alright but I didn’t really want to have to hold on hard after a 90 min wait but at least I was alright. Just one of those situations where I didn’t know if I should move seats incase they start it whilst I’m moving and that would be significantly worse, even if that’s very unlikely 🤣

We think at HQ that Zodiac will be the first of #flatridecorner to leave the park….probably replaced with we’d like to see something aimed at the family/thrills and possibly another supporting flat down there!! If rush was to go could we see something like maelstrom at Drayton relocated?? Also tidal wave if you’re down the south for carnival around July 22nd/29th we’ll join you for a back row 😊

What I love about Colossus is the sound of the lift hill and the roar of the coaster going round. I have a soft spot for it .
