Thank you for the update. Following your journey with the 7.62x39 and a few videos from others I ended up with a PWS MK116 Mod 2 upper with an LMT ambi lower. I just recently got it together and haven’t gotten a chance to shoot it just yet. My stubbornness is because I’m hanging on to the idea that 7.62x39 will be much cheaper mil surplus ammo again some day when the Russian bans are lifted.
@@cowroy64 Hey, I appreciate you watching my videos thanks! Yeah, we'll see what happens with the bans/sanctions this election cycle I guess, I hope it comes down a bit in price. It kinda helped me get over my stubbornness for avoiding getting an AR haha, but 7.62x39 will always be one of my favorite rounds to shoot.
Having multiple ARs an AKS, and a plethora of other weapons, (M1As, FAL, PTR 91, etc,) I have a Mutant and a 45acp Banshee (SBR,d). Why? Fun. I don't gamble, drink, spend money on trampy babes, or otherwise waste $$$, so these are a good ROI investment. Your logic makes sense for you, as mine does for me. Nicely done non-drama or know-it-all presentation, thank you sir.
@@LUVDOGS1954Right on! More money towards your hobby and what makes you happy. It was a tough one to sell, but it was too much of a distraction for me haha. Shoot and enjoy it! I can always buy one later down the line 😁 Man what a cool way to volunteer! That's Rrango-his true happiness is snow.
I have a couple of 7.62x39 rifles and pistols. Both are the AR style. Typical issues firing pin and hammer spring and gas blocks. Now they run great, and I use them for hunting deer. I also have several in other calibers. Basically, I am staying with one kind of rifle so as not to get confused with the order of arms. Keep in mind I started with the 556 version and expanded from there. I like working on them and figuring out any problems I may run into. Great video
Nice to see your videos again, I’ve been watching since you chest rig video and love you down to earth solutions. So thanks again
No problem! I appreciate you following along!
