Hi,how did you manage to solve problem with steering lock error? I 've tried to put Pin 8 on Pin 10 on ElV module, but it didnt work. Is there a way to solve that problem because its really annoying.

Hi Sorry to disturb you I have a car Passat B6 like yours and wants to do so as you did I already took the plastic In the middle of the Passat b7 the cables that I get leather handbrake plus the cables to turn on the front light and I can not start with start to do this thing I need also cables of the Passat b7 I am fine for B6 to I have to change also the control units Thanks let me know
Dear sir, I have a vw passat 2011 1.6TDI. A few days ago i used the VCDS mess up some of the settings in my car BCM? only the little lcd screen in middle of dash board is powered, and the remote key can open and close the doors but the car dash board not any light on when I inserted the key( no self-test).the car can not be start, because the ignition can not be turn on, VCDS can not connect to the BCM, so I want to know can I replace the BCM with second-hand one to fix the problem? Do I need any coding after replace the BCM? Thank you!
You can replace BCM but definitely need coding. Contact your local VW dealer - they can restore coding for you from VW online servers. Emergency power can be sent to BCM for coding.

I don't agree with that, so my car at home now. i just want to know is there possible to damage those part if i user vcds change the long code in Central Electronics? my remote key can lock and unlock the doors is that means my Immobilizer is fine? if i change the BCM can i got power back on then i can use the vcds for coding? Thank you!
4000euros is a joke.. I am sure there is possibility to restore power to your BCM to try recoding. Please send your problem again to facebook.com/levwfreaks/ messenger if possible. We can chat there.

You need following parts from passat b7: CCM; Kessy retrofit wiring harness; Centre console with B7 buttons and push-to-start button; BCM; Kessy module. Also IMMO coding to copy key information from B6 CCM to B7.
Hey how hard is it to retrofit the cecm to bcm I jsut did the instrument cluster upgrade from a b7 passat but i'm missing the lights and vision menu as well as the convenience menu can you post your email so i can chat with you I think I might need to get some of the modules.

The only way is to use B7 CCM and swap to B7 steering wheel module

Already had keyless but Passat B6 comes WITHOUT start button (only on B7). I retrofitted all B7 features and modules for this.
