Composer was Stevie small ex director of Army School of bagpipes Stevie served with The Black watch were he was pipe major then moving to the Army school
Beautiful slow air for sure...suggestion for the double dotted crotchet if I may; can that bar be replaced with a crochet, dotted quaver beamed with a semi quaver, crochet, then tie the first crochet with the dotted quaver?
A lovely wee air and well played. I believe the composer to be PM Steven Small. I heard of it recently played at the Tattoo. How did you say I could get a copy of the notation?
Thanks Iain! Yes, the composer is indeed PM Steven Small MBE. I've posted the sheet music at www.patreon.com/posts/guth-aphiobaire-73357463 or you can email me at dennison.jenna@gmail.com

Not heard this tune before. Lovely.
Double-dotted quarter notes! Don't see those everyday (or any day!) in pipe scores. Very nice!
Likely just a time signature thing. Slow airs are usually written in 6/8
Very beautiful and interesting tune!

Sure, that’s another way of writing the same rhythm, it would sound the same
Excellent 👌👌👌👌👌 love from India police 🚨
The original (the glorious 12th) was written in 6/8 time and is slightly different.
