My life changed when i got him. It was like the colors that were drained from my life returned in a full rainbow. He was a ray of a light in this world of cruel darkness. He carried me through all of the battle cats levels all the way too UL. Thank Huge Hermit for being there for me and being the best UBER in the game. ❤❤

The reason it is bad for him in his current state is his rapid attacks with not good range making him unable to get stuff off of him, 10k DPS with 2,000 range would make him essentially the most skilless Uber to use with almost no downside since he has somewhat of a lower cooldown compared to most. 2,000 range would make Huge Hermit the best unit in the game.

Huge Hermit is an ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING unit and is definitely worth spending all of your life savings on. I would even go so far as to say that he shook the meta just with his true form. Huge hermit is a frontline tank and melee uber who harbours strong against aliens. With the addition of his true form, he gains target black, higher health, and most importantly, immune to warp. Even just by taking a look at his stats, you can already see why he is such an outstanding unit. He has good qualities, such as his outstanding reproduction speed, as well as his cheap cost and incontestable DPS. If we delve further into analysis, you will see that Huge Hermit has outstanding generalist use, and does not even need to be used against only black or alien enemies. At Level 30 scale, you can see that he has a whopping 73K HEALTH for a frontliner with 35S COOLDOWN. With these stats alone, he would even be viable without his damage. His second major key point to being such an effective melee unit is his AMAZING offensive ability. Not only does he harbour 10.4K BASE DPS, but even has fast jabbing attacks to quickly remove peons that get in the way. Like with any melee uber in the game, you always want fast, rapid jabs of attacks to easily destroy the frontline of peons and allow for other units like Can Can to decimate the frontline. However, Huge Hermit offers so much viable offence and DPS that you would not even need Can Can! His rapid attacks and life long survivability allow him to have an amazing and reliable damage output. HOWEVER, it doesn’t end here. When you take a look at his specialist stats, you will see that he ends up having an OUTSTANDING 184K HP AND 18.7K DPS against black and aliens! Even before his true form, he had been one of the best Ubers, with an amazing bulk, allowing each HUGE Hermit to have HUGE impact on the battlefield. With his true form increasing his health and granting him black targeting and MOST IMPORTANTLY, WARP IMMUNITY. With his true form, there are no longer any Ubers for either black or aliens can outclass him in offence or defence. I want to add that Huge Hermit has spectacular cost efficiency. Costing only 3750, he is much cheaper than other standard Ubers, and even feels underpriced for his stats. Overall, it’s obvious why Huge Hermit remains monarch of the Ubers. No unit in the game can even replace his spot on the throne, as he sits above all Ubers, and even Legends.
Seeing this is a nostalgia trip and a half, specifically for the game the gold MS units came from: metal slug attack. If someone didn’t mention before, these golden fellas, golden huge hermit, the golden saucer tank, all came from metal slug attack, which released gold versions of existing units that were buffed versions of themselves, I remember (from my fragmented memory) there used to be jokes about the golden sandmarine (which doesn’t appear in this game unfortunately it seems) as the death hotdog, or how golden Jupiter used to be absolutely broken. Heck my favorite was and will always be golden fortress. Of course gold units were still released until metal slug attack shut down last year, only to be brought back as MSA: reloaded not too long ago, though I haven’t played it yet so I don’t know how many units survived MSA OG’s shutdown, or if any gold units are even there, but at least battle cats still has them.
Sol dae rokker should have gotten the extra money when defeating enemies ability since in the game he turns the players to coins when caught by his laser
The Steel Snail Collab is back! I sure do love Ginormous Recluse. I wonder what exciting buffs they gave him. I sure hope he isn't a highly disposable Unit regardless of how well you synergize with him with Damage that requires him to stay alive for long periods of time to get my money's worth!!

I feel like Huge Hermit should have been designed as a Backliner from the start, not a Tanker like this. Because in Metal Slug 3, his cannon can be fired, which looks much better and more conceptual (or at least, have his first form as a Tanker with the cannon still closed, and later forms open it up and become a Backliner... but that's it).
Kasli the Bane is a very powerful unit when it comes to stats. The combination of high health and 5 knockbacks leads to her staying alive for a long time when summoned. Thanks to the powerful Surge, she is also able to deliver high and consistent damage to midrangers and backliners, such as Le'noir and R.Ost, while also intercepting incoming peons and keeping enemies that are extremely easy to knockback at bay, such as Gory variants, Brollow, Rain D. and Mr. Puffington. Lastly, she can even be used for "base trapping": if you have her hit a base and trigger a boss wave, her Surge will instantly hit and severely cripple anything that comes out, sometimes making a massive difference. Just remember that due to her blindspot and most of her damage being concentrated in the surge, she will not perform too well against Zombies, short ranged pushers like Bore or One Horn, as well as surge-immune enemies. However, a tanky unit can cover her blind spot, making her usage even more viable. Damage isn't all she has though: her Curse ability lets her disable enemies' Knockback, Slow, Freeze, Weaken, Warp, Curse, Dodge Attack and Toxic abilities. Since it has good uptime, this makes her even more useful against enemies with annoying abilities like Super Metal Hippoe, Li'l Doge, Crazed Axe Cat, Henry, Winged Pigge, Gobble, Heavenly Herald Papuu, Bakoo and all Relics. There are, however, rare instances in which her Curse ability can be counterproductive, such as against some units with Warp, who would become unable to warp any attackers they reach to safety. This is most notable against Final Boss Giga God. Her immunities to Wave Attacks, Warp, Curse, Weaken and Surges further help her with the threat posed by such abilities, especially in Uncanny Legends, Cats of the Cosmos and The Aku Realms where they are prominently active. Another thing I would like to add to this ranking is the costs of true form evolution. Huge Hermit costs 3 Green and Blue Stones which is odd and Morden costs 1 Yellow Stone, which is hard to get and makes no sense, meanwhile HI-DO and Jupiter King have 3 catfruits and an epic one which is piss easy to get, making them better

I think the only way they could have fixed huge hermit in his tf would have been to add him target aku, surge immunity and 100% shield piercing. It had the potential to be a very good emergency shield breaker due to its low cost and fast attack, like a low budget dark iz xd

I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of HUGE HERMIT. I try to play Cyberpunk stacking. My HUGE HERMIT deals more damage. I try to place abahamut. My HUGE HERMIT deals more damage. I try to play any elemental pixie. HUGE HERMIT does better against Alien enemies. I don't even try to play Lumina. I want to play literally any other anti-alien. It's powercrept by HUGE HERMIT. I want to play other ubers like Kasli, Dasli or Phonoa - HUGE HERMIT deals more dmg than all of them combined. He grabs me by the throat. I farm for him. I get him his true form. I give him all my uber rare catseyes. He isn't satisfied. "I'm not even level 60" He tells me. "Make me stronger" He grabs my dark catseyes cat and forcibly uses them. "You just need to pull more copies of me. I can deal more damage than any Metal Slug uber" I can't pull for any halloween units, the banner is on right now and he took all of my catfood. Hi all, I played the game long time ago now I started a new account. 1000 rank, middle in the ItF ch1 I have crazed cat/tank/fish and dark mitama as only good uber, fishman, cameraman, pizza, catellite, ramen,figure dancers as other good units (not in their true forms ofc). Feel kinda stuck at the moment for things to do currently. Whats your suggestions ?

Another thing I would like to add to this ranking is the costs of true form evolution. Huge Hermit costs 3 Green and Blue Stones which is odd and Morden costs 1 Yellow Stone, which is hard to get and makes no sense, meanwhile HI-DO and Jupiter King have 3 catfruits and an epic one which is piss easy to get, making them better
Now i cant think other thing than ponos just straigth up hate those ubers.

Yesterday, I wanted to open the Halloween banner in the hopes of getting Yukimura, while i was talking to a friend of mine, I accidentally opened the Metal Slugs' banner and got Jupiter King, so it felt like one of the best misclick ever.

I’ve spent quintillions of catfood on this banner and all I got was two Rares one of the being eri and the other the yellow guy with the shotgun and one super rare which is SV-001… I remember metal slug had a game like BC but it’s servers shut down I miss that game

Morden and Huge hermit could just have swapped their strong/resistant ability because Strong on a Tanker and Resistant on a pretty offensive Support doesn't make any sense

I think the only way they could have fixed huge hermit in his tf would have been to add him target aku, surge immunity and 100% shield piercing. It had the potential to be a very good emergency shield breaker due to its low cost and fast attack, like a low budget dark iz xd

I want to play other ubers like Kasli, Dasli or Phonoa - HUGE HERMIT deals more dmg than all of them combined. He grabs me by the throat. I farm for him. I get him his true form. I give him all my uber rare catseyes. He isn't satisfied. "I'm not even level 60" He tells me. "Make me stronger" He grabs my dark catseyes cat and forcibly uses them. "You just need to pull more copies of me. I can deal more damage than any Metal Slug uber" I can't pull for any halloween units, the banner is on right now and he took all of my catfood. He grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." He grabs his HUGE HERMIT. He says "It's HUGE HERMIT time." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure HUGE HERMIT. Hi all, I played the game long time ago now I started a new account. 1000 rank, middle in the ItF ch1 I have crazed cat/tank/fish and dark mitama as only good uber, fishman, cameraman, pizza, catellite, ramen,figure dancers as other good units (not in their true forms ofc). Feel kinda stuck at the moment for things to do currently. Whats your suggestions ?

If I was Metal Slug I would sue. The Huge Hermit being associated with your brand has to be a negative. I used to play Metal Slug and I think less of it now. The new Uber seems interesting, but it would have been more fun to have turned HH into the ultimate broken uber.

No, it’s omni. He will stand 450 range away from the base because that’s his max omni on the first hit.
