Gave my Len Edge a new lease of life by installing Ubuntu (Linux) but needed to replace keyboard as continuous beeping on startup with stuck key error. Removed keyboard through watching this video on mobile but the unclear part was removing the two attachments to the motherboard near to the end. Even worse when assembling new keyboard at exactly the same point. Probably spent about 2 hours watching and re-watching this and similar videos on my phone without getting a real understanding at what is probably quite a simple manoeuvre. Fear of breaking part which would have left me with a terrible problem. Obviously I am not familiar with doing this and up to that point the instructions were good and clear. I am left with the large ribbon loosely fitting in its place, not secured as it was with the old keyboard. So far it is working (this proves it!) but can't be safe to move laptop.
try using an external keyboard to determine if it's keyboard or not, if the external keyboard does work then it's most likely hardware, rarely have i found the problem to be software.

I have the same laptop. Recently, my laptop keyboard has been acting up. I don't know if it's a hardware issue, or a software issue.
