One year in India with the ODK. That’s the oriental dwarf kingfisher. It’s way more exciting than it may seem. What a place. The sounds of the forests are AMAZING. Need to switch off for an hour? What this. You’ll come back refreshed and calm. Enjoy.
Awersome documentary, i loved and enjoyed it, thanks for your hard work of filming such colorful and amazing birds. Thank you!

Magnificent photography and storytelling!! A nature documentary masterpiece!! Bravo!!
Those birds are beautiful have never seen birds like that
I've lived in Thailand for 22 years, and 'do' bird rescue on our little island. I've actually had 2 of these wonderful little birds to care for in the past few years. One was badly injured after flying into a window (sadly it didn't make it), and the other was brought to me after a storm. It was exhausted, and probably hadn't eaten during the almost 3 days and nights of strong wind and heavy rain. It was wonderful to see it fly off after 3 or 4 days of care... like a jewel in flight! I ended up with almost a dozen different birds over the days following the storm, but that amazing little Asian Kingfisher taking off towards the mountain is a memory that will stay with me...
These are amazing birds, in India too they are found flying into the windows especially the glass normally end of monsoons , keep up the good work of saving birds my friend
The opportunity to view birds I would never get the chance to see had it not been for your amazing filming. Priceless.
These wee Kingfishers are hugely beautiful - no wonder you followed them into their lives...💛
These birds are adorned so beautifully................and with so much color.
I express my sincere gratitude to your efforts for showing the beautiful world of colorful birds and the nature they struggle to survive.
Many thanks
How is it that nature documentaries are becoming ever yet more graphically astounding? ❤❤❤
As a birder, i couldn't resist clicking on this video, ...just long enough to see the gorgeous bird in the photo, I told myself. I was pulled in to watch every minute. Birds are fascinating. This seasonal glimpse into a pair of Oriental Dwarf Kingfishers nesting lives captured my full attention. 💖 Thank you for making this documentary!!
I loved the exotic kingfishers. Wonderful documentary.
What an amazing creature...thanks for the precious documentary
Beautiful Documentary.......... I loved it !!!! Thank you very much.

I loved this documentary. Just straight, honest documenting from a person who is clearly so passionate about these animals, and the area. I really enjoyed this so much. I didn't want it to end. Such beautiful birds...I'm so happy all four ODK chicks survived to venture out into the world. Please do more!!! Wonderful work!
thank you

Beautiful. Watching again First Class ! 👍🏻
This is my cat’s favorite thing to watch. He will sit in front of my iPad and watch this whole thing and then fall asleep at the very end. I could probably narrate this documentary with the amount of times I’ve had to watch this lmao
Thanks!

Τι υπέροχο ντοκιμαντέρ. Τι ομορφη που είναι η φυση. Τι υπέροχα χρώματα που έχουν οι αλκυονες. Τις λατρευω.
Thank you for letting us see this beauty ❤
Thanks for such an amazing video, so educational, just loving it👍
Thank you for this beautiful story about the birds,.
Narrators write beautiful poems in their narrations.
Such a wonderful documentary well worth a watch, a great diversity of wildlife shown, beautiful place.
I have always enjoyed nature documentaries, but they became almost a guilty pleasure during the pandemic lockdown. It was, and still is, very soothing to be able to "travel" to exotic locations around the globe and see how other species survive. There is not a mask anywhere and many members of the animal kingdom are barely 6 inches apart, never mind 6 feet.
We love birds, and this is magnifisent. I am amazed and filled with wonder! You did a magnificent job!
This is a beautiful and worth seeing documentary. Thank you.
Beautiful and peaceful to listen to this nature sound
It really is!
I have been watching the heartbreaking Israel news most of the day,& “ ran onto” this lovely Documentary. Oh my goodness, it was SO soothing and relaxing to the brain and body!

Thank you for all your hard work in making these documentaries, lovely to see
💛👏
I love these Documentaries, Thank you for sharing them😊
This is really a wonderful documentation. I liked the fact that the videography was not invasive, unlike commonly shard nest photos unethically taken these days. This video shows the natural habitat of the birds and no trimmed sign around the nest area.
Very well done...a beautiful nature, thanks so much for the hard work!
Amazing documentary...it sounds weird but I find its refreshing to watch animals being filmed 🎥 without being given names . If this was a BBC documentary for instance, your pair of O.D.Ks would have been called "jasper and safron"...does my nut sometimes 😜...your work is amazing ! Aren't you worried about tigers ?? Be careful out there buddy !
Thanks, Tigers are big cats and need protection but India has recorded a growth in Tiger Numbers from the time the Project Tiger was launched. So i focus on animals and birds that need to be recorded and let people know they exist

Stunning-Thank you for your dedication! I've learned alot from you.
11:33 I like how even though their heads and bodies have evolved in a way that it's no longer helpful, the male still tries to do the mating posture stabilization neck grab you see in so many bird and mammal species.
thank you so much! Such an immense joy watching your documentary! And it's really great to be reminded of how nature can be both beautiful and terribly harsh at the same time!
Absolutely fantastic work by Vishal Jadhav. Real, honest, knowledgeable, BEAUTIFUL, etc..
