The running game became worse under JJ - he brought in lesser RB's than Shula had and the talent at WR was among the worst in the NFL year in and year out. JJ got rid of Irving Fryar in favor of Fred Barnett. Fryar went to the Eagles and had a 1,000 season right away. Fred Barnett dropped pass after pass in Miami.
