Stirling is one of my favorite soaps in my rotation, the only one I have is Strawberry lemonade, but mountain man sounds like a scent profile I would like. I really like your channel, I saw you use the Yaqi barber pole brush in a bunch of your videos, and I liked it so much I went out and bought one, it’s amazing, my favorite brush I have owned. I love your channel, it’s really just relaxing to watch and listen. Thanks for what you do, and keep up the great work!
Thanks so much for watching Kevlar Bears! I very much appreciate your time and the kind, encouraging words about my content! Very happy to hear you've been enjoying the videos! Awesome that you got the barber pole brush! So glad you like it! I always praise yaqi and their affordable, well performing brushes. They are just the best. Also glad to see you're also a Stirling fan! Haven't smelled strawberry lemonade, but sounds like an awesome summer scent. Keep on shaving on my man!! Have a great week!!
Hey. Nice one. I agree, just like you're saying if Stirling was the only soap I could use for the rest of my life I'd be more than happy. This is one of my favorite scents by them of the ones I've tried. I do not buy the mathing splash for each and every soap I own but I did buy this splash. Have a good rest of your weekend
Hello my friend! Thanks so much for your continued support on my content. I truly appreciate it, as well as the kind words. I’m glad to see you’re also a Stirling fan. They really have nailed everything so well. Happy to hear you also like Mountain Man! I don’t always get the matching splash either but I’m darn happy I got this one. Truly a great scent to wear for any occasion. You enjoy your week as well!
Thanks so much for watching brother!! Appreciate you man! Great choice with the mountain man set! It just smells awesome. Easily one of the best scents I have in my den. I'm really impressed with a lot of the creed dupes, especially mountain man. Island man in second place for me. Have a great week Carlitos!
Thanks so much for watching Lindsay! So happy to hear that you enjoy my videos! Appreciate the kind words. Glad you also like mountain man. Probably the best cologne scent I’ve ever smelled. I’m not even a cologne guy and I find mountain man beautiful. And gotta love that label. Have a great day!
Thanks so much for watching man! Thanks again for putting this one on my radar. Absolutely love it! I’m actually shocked at how much I love it haha. Have a great day Matt!
Hi Lee! Thanks so much for stopping by to watch my video. I appreciate the continued support. Yeah, Stirling does it so well. I think you would Enjoy mountain man a lot. It's bright, clean and non offensive. Smells like Spring in the mountains. And I agree, excellent customer service on top of their great products. Can't beat 'em in my opinion. I always enjoy supporting them. Hope you have a great week man!
Thanks so much for tuning in to the shave! I appreciate the kind words very much! I'm really glad to see you're getting into the world of wetshaving. It's a fun, healthy hobby with a great community. Hey Tim!! Thanks so much for watching my friend! Haha yeah, you know it! I love that thing. Biggest handle I could find. Has great grip and feels really great to shave with. You should try one sometime. Hope all is well over there! Lots of warm weather to get excited about :)
Hi, Aaron, it was nice & interesting shave with Stirling Mountain Man set. I like this kind of shave video, because your honest & free talking opinion about soap scent. I like this Maountain Man scent & Stirling Sopa Company. Not so cologney but acceptable to everage person. It's definitely piney woody scent. I also like its green tea scent. Your mention of Ozark Mountain, Coniferous as same kind of piney Stirling soap, I agree. Island Man & Mountain Man soaps are my top two Man series Stirling soap for me to introduce to my friends. Have a great week, Aaron!
Hi Hoon! Thanks so much for watching my shave! I appreciate your kind words! Happy to hear you enjoyed the video! Glad you also enjoy the scent of Mountain Man. I agree with your description, not overly cologney but rather pleasant and inviting. I think most people would enjoy the scent of it. I definitely pick up the green tea note. Stirling has a great line of pine scents. I have coniferous and find it to be a more natural pine scent than ozark mountain. I also love Island man. Take care and have a great week!
Hi Mike! Thanks so much for watching and the kind words! Great choice with Mountain Man, I promise you won't regret it. It's a beautiful scent and great take on Creed Silver Mountain Water. One of the best scents in my den, hands down. I need to go take a whiff of it right now actually lol. Enjoy it and have a good weekend!
@@DoubleAshaves Thankyou likewise have a great weekend also. The Soap arrived will try it out tmoro really nice notes and fragrance coming from the tub look forward to it Thanks again!
Thank you so much bro for stopping by to watch! Always appreciate your support my man and the kind words. Glad you enjoy the setup. I’m sure you’ve smelled Silver Mountain Water, but if you haven’t you would love it. Creed scents are awesome. Have a great weekend man 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice 👍🏻. WSP made a version of that last year that I picked up. Love that scent. Apparently the perfumer that made Silver Mountain Water was inspired by his time in the Himalayas. Creed Himalaya was also apparently inspired by that experience.
Thanks so much for watching Ben! Appreciate you stopping by! Thanks again for turning me onto Mountain Man. Out of the Creed dupes I've smelled, Mountain Man is easily my favorite. Fresh, clean, unique and not overpowering. It's really darn good. That's neat, I didn't know that about the perfumer. I need to sample Ramblin Man again. I got a bath soap sample of it like a year ago and remember it smelling pretty good. By the way I got a free Cliffs of Moher sample with my SFWS set from M&M. I dig it, it smells like a spicier version of Irish Springs from PAA which is awesome. Looking forward to lathering it up. Have a great day!
Hey Robert! Thanks so much for watching my friend! Always appreciate you stopping by! Hope all is well! Thank you, and you have a great Easter as well :)
Happy Easter Aaron. That handle is a beast. Your lather always looks so perfect regardless of the brand. Without fail I always see little soap pieces on my face. Doesn't affect the shave though. Just finished two soaps and debating what I'll get next. Hope all is going well in your life.
Hello my friend! :). Thanks so much for all your time and support on my content! Always appreciate you stopping by! Hope you had a great Easter! Yeah man, I dig this handle haha. Don't see many shavers using it. They're just missing out. Thanks, frankly I like to take a lot of time with the lather process, but I'm in the hobby for comfort and not speed, so it's okay with me. Yeah, some soaps are flakier than others. Maybe if you really mash down the soap good in your bowl, that could reduce the issue. But that happens to me from time to time also. Like you said doesn't make a difference in the shave. Let me know what your next purchase is! Too many great brands to choose from. All is well! Hope you have a good week!
@@DoubleAshaves Yes....way too many brands. Not sure why but I want to try the Fine brand. I'm thinking the one called Clubman or something. Supposed to be a nostalgic scent. @@autumn1231 Funny, I've been wanting to try Fine as well. I do enjoy that classic barbershop/clubman type scent. I'm pretty sure I thought this was a pine scent too. I'll have to grab sample. Atrás Blue is way better for me than Green. Stainless blades tend to be more gentle. Stirling is amazing but I wish their aftershaves were more like PAA. PAA's leave my face absolutely perfect. It must be the aloe...not sure. In general, I prefer PAA over Stirling but you pay a premium for it. I'm with you though. If it were my only soap I wouldn't complain. Makes for some fun experimenting. Yeah, with PAA you’re paying a premium for sure, but like you said it’s for the added skin food/ingredients. I do notice a slightly better post shave feeling with those splashes with more stuff in them. Yeah, great description of Stirling. Great value and also incredibly easy to use. Mountain Man is a lovely scent from Stirling (I have a sample), I actually enjoy that Stirling has quite a range of cologne scents. Lovely lather Aaron, Stirling always gives a great lather. Stirling is the only non-Australian Artisan that has a dedicated online site here in Aus with a large range of Stirling's products. Even though that razor's handle looks really cool I'd have a bit of difficulty shaving with the heavy weight, you may have noticed I use a lot of Aluminum razors and that's for a reason (arm & hand issues, old age I guess). The most I've spent on a razor is US$100 and that's rare, 80% of my razors are less than US$50 (I have about 30) and many a lot less. Take care Aaron and Happy Easter.👍🤠
