I have an Elder tree in my garden and the bees love the blooms. The wood pigeons are pretty obsessed with the berries and go to extreme lengths to balance on the thinnest of branches to get to them. In winter the blue tits feed on the bugs. It's a wonderful tree to have and seems to support our local wildlife very well.
