Awww, poor Mal. It's so sad seeing her on the verge of tears. I'm glad you guys got home safe with no damage to your home. It's upsetting though how much stress and worry the storm caused you.
I am glad all of you are back home and you all are safe. That last leg, I would have been in tears in front of the camera so I just wanted to hug Mal and you. I hope that you and your parent's home's have had little to no damage. Take as much time to recharge and get back to normal, I think all of us would understand.
By the end of the video, I was wishing that I had a way to give you guys a hug. I feel so bad that you guys had to deal with such a stressful situation; but everybody and every kitty is alright, and that's the most important thing.
Oh gosh this gave me anxiety! And seeing Mal so stressed really got to me 😩 but I’m so so glad you guys got out when you did, and made it home safely with the cats and your parents! This whole thing couldn’t have been easy for any of you guys.
Living in Australia, we get nothing this bad and watching this, watching people who i can say i genuinely care about just puts a whole new perspective on how great people have it.
Super-glad you all got home okay. You were very brave and Emile so kind to take you in. Hopefully this was an experience you won't have to repeat! Take all the time you need to get back on your feet and feeling right again.
Im just as glad and relieved your home hasn't suffered anything to major by the looks of it as I am glad you guys are safe, just so you had somewhere to get back to and one less thing to worry about! You guys are true warriors for what youve had to to through!
Im so so glad you guys made it back safely and no damage was done to your home. Thank you Emile for being the person you are. I was really worried about you guys.. I'm extremely grateful everything turned out okay.
It’s so glad to know your all safe, I teared up a little bit seeing Mal so emotional; poor thing. Hopefully things will calm down for you all now. 🤗 Hugs for you all.
Going and spending time with Emile to avoid a hurricane is pretty much the pinnacle of taking those confounded lemons life gave you and making lemonade from 'em.
We just had a tornado pass through where I live in Canada. Luckily, it didn't damage our house. We just lost power for a few hours. I feel bad for being stressed out about it because so many other people had it much worse. To be fair, though, we don't ever see tornadoes where I live. Anyway, I'm glad to see that you guys got back home safely.
I'm glad you got home safely and that everything is fine! I know it's been a few days already, but take it easy and let the stress from this ordeal get out of your system :)
I'm so glad you both are safe & home, & know that all of us send you hugs & may you always know that you have been a support to others. Peace be with you & your family.
Just want to say I have respect for people that live in coastal areas because people may think it’s awesome but it takes major resilience to get through the hell that hurricanes can makezz
Oh my God, you guys! I don't know how you got through all that without breaking down! I'm so glad you and your parents are okay! I'm glad the house and everything is fine too! I really hope you guys won't have to go through another storm like this for a very very long time.
It's so interesting to see how people handle hurricanes and what people have to go through with them. As someone who's lived in Europe for their entire life, I've never experienced it.
Glad you guys made it home and through all of that. Scary stuff. And holy cow, your mom is like a Mega Mom. She is amazing for driving that trip home as well.
That happened to me that saturday, it was a national holiday and got out at 7 am to see a few relatives outside thr city (a trip around 300 kilometers) which usually takes around 3 hours We got there at around 7 pm, we stopped a couple hours to eat lunch, so roughly 9 hours of travel On the bright side i didn't drive and it was so slow with the traffic that i easily played through half of castlevania symphony of the night on my psp for the first time
I forget if you have seen Lord of the Rings or not, but there's a quote on of the the Ents (tree friends) say: "release the river" and that quote is used in Lego Lord of the Rings remix song, and it comes to my head every time someone mentions a river flooding
Flooding can be scary, especially how fast it can happen. In 2015 we had a day where it was raining way more than usual but I thought it was just going to be a rainy day. During around 7PM me and my Dad were driving somewhere and as we were driving we saw the back lights of a car ahead but it wasn't moving, we quickly realized that it was stuck in water so we turned back and went a different way. If someone hadn't drove into the flooded road before us we would have been stuck first. The next day I didn't need to leave my home for the day but when I turned the TV on in the afternoon I saw the City was completely flooded. Where I live has been flooded twice in my life time, once in 2005 and then ten years later in 2015 but the worst part is that in 2005 the council said it was " A once in One Hundred year flood" and but flood barriers up. That obviously wasn't the case as in flooded only a decade later.
1:30 He just got done saying about two seconds ago that Florence is no longer a hurricane, but look at the spinning circle of raindrops over his mirror on the left driver door window. JK, it's just rain.
I love Emile vlogs they are among my favorite vlogs ever but the next time Emile appears on the vlog I hope it has nothing to do with a natural disaster

1:30 "I'm not sure where the eye was"
- sees circulating raindrops in the corner of driver's side window -
Nature, please stop mocking the Georg's!!!
That's the only thing I could concentrate on during that part.
Valhawk that is so wild!
I think the curvature of the rain guards caused the wind to make the raindrops circulate like that.
Same, that had me hipnotized...
Praise Emile for his generosity.
8:15 Florence, you made my friend cry. I never want to see you again.
Agreed
Tears of joy at least. She was probably just overjoyed they made it home without the house being damaged.
"You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have." Bob Marley
1:11 the circling water droplets were so hypnotic.
wernt0 what does that? I need a scientist.
who kept looking at the circling water drops while absentmindedly hearing Stephen talk while barely able to understand him

Oh gosh this gave me anxiety! And seeing Mal so stressed really got to me 😩 but I’m so so glad you guys got out when you did, and made it home safely with the cats and your parents! This whole thing couldn’t have been easy for any of you guys.
A thousand hugs, Mal & co. Y’all are troopers (including the kitty beans) and I am so sorry you all had to go through this.
Living in Australia, we get nothing this bad and watching this, watching people who i can say i genuinely care about just puts a whole new perspective on how great people have it.
I can only imagine how awful those last few hours must have felt. I'm glad you guys were all okay.

I honestly can't tell is Mal was laughing or on the verge of crying at the car when they got home.
The Straw Hat Viking me either and I’m concerned
It looked like tears, but like tears of relief. I can only imagine how stressful that trip back was,
What I can tell was that she was a mixture of both.
Yeah im kinda worried cause i've never seen someone get that emotional from some rainstorm. Stephen if you see this, tell mal not to be afraid.
Probably a little of both. Definitely seemed it was mostly of relief though.
Internet hugs, for what they're worth. I've been through hurricanes and tornadoes, but I've never had to evacuate. I can't even imagine.
Im just as glad and relieved your home hasn't suffered anything to major by the looks of it as I am glad you guys are safe, just so you had somewhere to get back to and one less thing to worry about! You guys are true warriors for what youve had to to through!
I'm glad that your house wasn't damaged and that you were able to get home safely
Im glad you guys made it back safely. Bless Emile for being so kind to take your whole family into his care in these dark time.
This whole vlog is just a testament to Stephen and Mal’s ability to keep it together under pressure. Good stuff.
I can't imagine how emotionally taxing this was for you guys. Glad you're all safe! Send our gratitude to Emile as well!
Im so so glad you guys made it back safely and no damage was done to your home. Thank you Emile for being the person you are. I was really worried about you guys.. I'm extremely grateful everything turned out okay.
I wanna hug u guys so badly im glad u two are safe
I don't care who you are but driving at night in heavy rain is always terrifying, I'm proud of you guys for staying calm and making it
No, Mal!! Mal was crying and o started to cry. I'm so happy you all made it home and are all safe.
It’s so glad to know your all safe, I teared up a little bit seeing Mal so emotional; poor thing.
Hopefully things will calm down for you all now.
🤗 Hugs for you all.
Hang in there guys. Take a few days and rest!
Wow that's crazy! What a trip home for you all. Definitely crazy timing on the route you had to take. Glad you are all safe!
Going and spending time with Emile to avoid a hurricane is pretty much the pinnacle of taking those confounded lemons life gave you and making lemonade from 'em.
4:02 there is a kitty paw reaching out of the cage, poor thing.

No, don't cry Mal. Everything is going to be okay! 😊

Oh Mal...seeing her cry breaks my heart. So glad you guys were safe
So good to see you, Mal, the cats, and your parents are all home safe and sound.
Dang, thank goodness for Emile! I’m so glad to hear that you guys are OK! Rest easy, you two. 💚
Very glad to see/hear that you all are ok and made it home safely. That's the most important thing.
I know this was a week ago, but I send my good vibes to you! I am glad that everything turned out well, and everyone got home safe!
I'm glad you all got back home safe! Recover and stay safe you two
Hugs are definitely needed for Mal...
I am SO glad to see you guys home ok!! It was rough it seems like but I'm happy to see you both back! Keep staying safe!!

So glad you're all home and okay! I hope you've enjoyed calming down and getting back to normal.
Best wishes to all of your family!
I’m late to watching, but I wanted to reach thru and hug Mal and hug you Stephen so very badly! Thank God you’re all back home and your parents too!
You guys handled this so well, and smartly. I'm so glad it worked out. I can't imagine how stressful this must have been....
When you were talking about the storm in the car, my eyes zeroed in on what was going on with your driver side window.
Oh my God, you guys! I don't know how you got through all that without breaking down! I'm so glad you and your parents are okay! I'm glad the house and everything is fine too! I really hope you guys won't have to go through another storm like this for a very very long time.
Mal definitely needs a hug after all of that. *hugs* Take all the time you need to get back to feeling better you two! :)
I am glad you guys are okay, and that you made it home safely.
We just got this rain here which I was super grateful for since it dropped it down to the 70s!
That one dislike is from Gannondorf.
i really think the dash camera was a great addition to your channel! love the content stephen!
Glad you made it home safely.
When Hurricane Irma hit, it took my family about a day to get from my grandma's house back to my house. Too much traffic
It's so interesting to see how people handle hurricanes and what people have to go through with them. As someone who's lived in Europe for their entire life, I've never experienced it.
This made me cry so much OMG; I love u guys so so much I’m so glad ur both safe ❤️
Awww poor kitty! Glad you're home.
Glad you guys made it home and through all of that. Scary stuff.
And holy cow, your mom is like a Mega Mom. She is amazing for driving that trip home as well.
All that rain in the driving scene is one of the reasons I live in a place where the air hurts my face rather than dealing with that.
I find it funny when Stephen said he thought Kep peed and he was like " No I DIDN'T!!!"
Glad to know you got home safe. Take care Stephen&Mal

Thank you Emile.
You all look shattered. Hope you get some rest. Glad the homestead was undamaged.
The Georgs succesfully forded the river!
That definitely looked like an awful drive home, but I am glad all of you got home safely!
I'm so glad you guys and your homes are safe. < 3
so glad you guys and your family are safe!
Ah gosh..I'm so sorry you guys had to go through all that.
Where's them gravel and sand trucks!?
I like that red shirt, Stephen. Very cool

I'm really shocked y'all tried to come back in that weather, yikes glad to see everyone is ok

The water on the window at 1:11
Hiiiii I’m Jordan and I cry every time I see someone cry.
So who is the better back seat driver?
6:30 Man, that is just terrible.
EDIT: 7:48 You also could say that by this point, I am speechless.
True pucker moments
I love Emile vlogs they are among my favorite vlogs ever but the next time Emile appears on the vlog I hope it has nothing to do with a natural disaster
Ganon is an animal, he's a pig (in both senses of the word)
kep is a cow cat
Whoa welcome to vlogmas, good thing he's catching up, being double behind on vlogs would be double stressful
Oh stfu dude theyve just had to evacuate their house from a hurricane that killed 11 and left 200,000 without power! Show some bloody respect!
Now i want to know how the Town got its name of george town
It's named after King George II - Georgetown is a very very old city in the US.

MalMakes That’s also the name of the city up here in Kentucky
Komasan is a dog though...
