Venice, Italian Venezia, city, major seaport, and capital of both the provincia (province) of Venezia and the regione (region) of Veneto, northern Italy. I also rode a Vaporetto along the canals of Venice and walked through its beautiful streets and squares three years ago before covid. And would like to visit this beautiful city again.

Yeah, 100 euro for motorboat trip is a little inadequate price for one person!
There were too many people in some places for me too, especially on the Rialto Bridge and some popular tourist streets.

I would love to know that, too. And are those ancient foundations stable, and what level of routine maintenance has to be done to assure continued safety? I know that in Amsterdam some buildings are leaning so badly that they even have "famous" monikers for them...but all I can think of when I see them is," How long before they tip over and hit the water?!?"
