Full studio update will come eventually when it is complete. For now I'm continuing to focus on photography and my daily photo project on Instagram (instagram.com/evanranftphoto) Thanks for watching!
For storage get a NAS. Ours is wireless and we can move from computer to computer and access the files. Always been a fan of logitech from its inception in 1981 (as I type it on my logitech keyboard with my logitech mouse)
Basically yeah. I never used a loupedeck (even though they offer to work with me many times) because it didn’t make sense for me. This actually does and seems more user friendly as well
Currently using surface laptop studio, mx mechanical mini, and mx master mouse. This is interesting for sure. Sometimes I'll use my laptop in tablet mode with a pen for masking or painting. I could see the use case for these peripherals for sure.
I think quickly jumping between programs is really cool/useful, but aside from that it just seems like it's still more universally beneficial to know the proprietary keyboard shortcuts for different programs, no?
Great vid. I like this MX suite bc its a rip of the streamdeck but tailored to the adobe suite. (Also, miss the out point on your export? pretty hard outro at 9:39...)
Thank you! And haha I knew someone would say that. I just cut the outro on this one cause how many times do people need to hear me say “see you next time” but I’ll stick with the normal outro next time if the quick ending is disruptive to viewers
@@RanftEvan Ahh haha, sorry to be that guy. 😆 I actually dig the shorter outros, it just looked like you were about to finish your sentence when the video ended. Just end it on sentence that feels complete, so it seems intentional and you'll be golden. fr, solid video tho.
Just stay basic and learn it. Every widget is just optional. I dont even change keyboard shortcuts for apps because after some years (and resetting the apps sometimes) I go quicker with memorize the default settings than change everything to my "optimized" settings.
Good presentation of the product, but the main drawback that I noticed is that it slides on the table when you press the buttons and even when you turn the dial, it needs more grip
Good catch, yeah I think it could be a little stickier but also in the demonstration I was making sure to keep my hands off camera as much as possible so yall could see buttons being pressed, and that added to some of the sliding. In everyday use I never noticed it
Bro you just happen to be using only logitech stuff? Also as they just happen to send it to you and also they just happen to be sponsoring this video. This feels like the first disingenuous video I have seen you do
Agreed! The hand movement off the mouse to click on a tool then back to the mouse to use that tool. Seemed like more effort than using the mouse for the entire process. Possibly for filming sake but seems better suited for mouse on one hand the buttons and dial for the other hand to use.
Hi sir, I am Teja a professional thumbnail designer. Your videos are good in content. Can I make thumbnails for your channel? If you are interested please let me know 😊.
the hand movement towards the device seems so awkward idk it doesn't seem like you actually win time. you even have a device obstructing the other one... maybe that's just me. better off with shortcuts on your keyboard that you can pick out on mappable keys.
Hey! I’m looking to start my own RUclips channel, but it’s hard to afford a camera since I’m young. If you have any used or unused cameras you’d be willing to give away, I’d take any! It would really help me get started. Thanks so much!

This feels like a very long ad.
Good to see more tools like this coming to market. For me I'll stick with my Loupedeck CT for now

Thanks for the tip! NAS is what I’ve been researching. I always get overwhelmed at technical stuff like more complex storage systems
So a practical loupedeck?

I love my Logitech mini for the Mac with one exception, the default is key lights and those walk out the characters making hunt and peck difficult
How do I connect Final Cut Pro and Davinci? I read an article about Monogram.
Thanks for the video. Looks promising. I will wait to see if someone publishes a video on how to use with Davinci Resolve.
These devices are pretty cool
I mean, you take more time by phisically moving the hand to the pad, and pressing it than moving the mouse cursor 1 inch

so much about the products the setup was never shown lmao
Does ir works with davinci?
Going to go re-program my steam deck after watching this... Been a minute.

I’m surprised you don’t use a Wacom tablet.

In my opinion, Loupedeck is incomparably more efficient than this.
Nice try diddy

REAL MVP!

Does your phone have a camera? That’s a great place to start. Focus on storytelling over gear and you’ll be off to the races.
