I remember watching a Dutch pilot at a Mildenhall air show going ballistic in an F16 up from the centre of the display line until invisible in a clear blue sky. He then put it in a flat spin and tumbled back into view and pulled out at about a thousand feet or less into a tight loop around the perimeter of the field. I remember it thirty years on as clearly as day. This display must have been as memorable to watch first hand too. ❤
Since the first time I saw the f22 display at Fairford a few years ago, I was blown away and is the reason I flew to America to catch it again before it stops displaying
I'm retired Air Force. I often take a beach day and go to the beach at Tyndal AFB in Panama City, Florida. They have/had (before Hurricane Michael) F-22s there. You could watch them do touch and goes all day long. Compared to earlier top fighters, the F-22 is surprisingly quiet. 40+ years ago, you had to have ear protection on the same beach, especially when F-4s were still around!

WOW props to pilot, airplane and cameraman. To a pilot of this or other high performance aircraft, I know this is a seriously demanding demonstration both mentally and physically. Does this ever stop being an awesome blast?
I have seen a lot of aircraft flying at countless airshows over my 56 years on this planet and nothing, absolutely nothing, compares to the two times I have seen this aircraft going through it's paces. Just obscene what the F-22 can do in a demonstration flight.

I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall 84-86 Some really good air shows. 😃
Cool, wish they still had the F-4
@@ElwynR I'm old but I think much of my old man hearing problems are due to that aircraft! Phantoms be loud!
@@davefranklyn7730 Yeah, i still remember them flying over our heads in germany occasionally, when i was a kid. Where glad to see them, but listening to them was another thing 😂.
Amazing skills. I have to confess, I find the Falling Leaf freaks me out a bit. In my head I know it's OK, but in my heart it's like nooooo, don't do that.
Yes, it's dam cool though, just a shame its so high up lol
At 2:45 the stability going backward is amazing! First rate camera work, BTW!
That is some sick maneuvering from a well seasoned pilot. Kudos to him for such awesome flying skills!!!
The amount of power to pull out of that fall leaf always blows my mind. Amazing thrust. Glad i'm on this side lol
The falling leaf is simply insane.
The king of the sky right there, folks.
That looks like a great show. I saw the raptor 2x this year and that show looked the best.
Fantastic display all the maneuvers to show off the F22 capabilities with the inputs of an experienced pilot, not forgetting a nice bit of☁ fluffage ☁between each set.💯 Not to forget the photography 👏👌
Wow! that’s truly impressive to watch. Obviously the pilot has to be congratulated for his training and abilities to put this plane through its paces. Imagine the look on Orville and Wilbur’s faces seeing this fly over after their historic flight at Kitty Hawk and the F22 pilot says “ hold my beer”.😳😮🙄😬
As impressive as it may be, I doubt any potential enemies plane/pilot combo can even come close to competing with a US Navy or AF pilot and a much cheaper F-15/16/18!
the f16 still breaking hearts and holding it's own.
love the falling leaf manoeuvre so much, and while not as showy, the high alpha pass is also a fave. havent had the pleasure of seeing the f22 in person at shows yet. We had the f35 out which had some great flare manoeuvres for the crowd but it would be nice to see it's predecessor at least once XD
Very grateful to live next to the city of Huntington Beach. Hat's off to the mayor, city officials , and law enforcement , in making H.B. a very safe, and exciting city to visit. They brought in the air shows years ago, along with surf boarding events, concerts, festivals on main street , fine dinning , and everything else. Always loved the air shows , a great place to see these talented , hardworking , pilots. God , bless America.
WOW props to pilot, airplane and cameraman.
To a pilot of this or other high performance aircraft, I know this is a seriously demanding demonstration both mentally and physically. Does this ever stop being an awesome blast?
What an incredible machine and what incredible pilots they are ❤️🖖🏼
I've seen plenty of F-22 demos firsthand, but some of those maneuvers were new to me, and insane!
I agree! I've watched a quite a few and some of these maneuvers are new to me as well
In the voice of Scottie from Star Trek.
“you cannae change the law of physics.”
F22 - “Hold my beer.”
Your videos are the best on the Internet.
Glad you like them!👌
Wow I thought the F35 was maneuverable
2 best jets in the world
The fookin' flip at 1:46 blows my mind. I don't live in a big house but I think he could flip that thing in my living room.
Amazing footage. Thank you for filming this and for posting. So proud of our military!!
Might be the best footage I've ever seen! And no annoying music or commentary!
Cheers ☺️
I thought that f35 display was incredible...
F22: Hold my beer
😅❤😅
😂😂❤
Some pretty good flying skills right there 👍👍👍
I have seen a lot of aircraft flying at countless airshows over my 56 years on this planet and nothing, absolutely nothing, compares to the two times I have seen this aircraft going through it's paces. Just obscene what the F-22 can do in a demonstration flight.
I'm no Russian fanboy, far from it, but if you want to be really impressed by crazy maneuvers, you seriously need to check out what the Su30 & 34 can do. It boggles the mind.
That was a nice touch to end the video, with (gotta guess a bit because I can't zoom this video for some reason) another F-22 flying formation with a P-51 in the background. I half expected the featured F-22 to join with them. Regardless... great camera work, along with an excellent display of aerobatic prowess from that Raptor driver.
Nice vid thx. Flying one here on Flight Simulator: its amazing. I suspect it’s easy to get over-confident, testing it’s incredible limits, because they are so damn powerful and nimble. One feels like anything is possible! -Probably it’s best that I stick to the simulator. Haha. Cheers!
really is a magnificent aircraft that mini loop at 1:54 was crazy, brilliant as always Elwyn 👍
Could belive my eyes when u first saw the Raptor display 👌
It's amazing that the F-22 is now an old bird and I think those twin engines just give it the edge over the F-35. Like the others are saying we can only imagine what at 6th Gen twin engine plane could do.
Thank you Elwyn happy to carry your bags on your next trip.🇬🇧👊🏻👍🏻
I wonder if in the future our NGAD fighters will have their AI wingmen buddies fly with them in some airshows 😂
F35 is also very capable and more diverse.
Simply the best. And what a great display of it. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
It's amazing!
That is un effing believable. Craziest maneuvers I have ever seen. Can see why Maverick said that his F14 wouldn’t have a prayer against these gen fighters. Incredible
no they would'nt , i was stationed on the USS EISENHOWER, although F14 were fantastic aircraft they would definitly lose in a dogfight, but that also depends on the experience of the pilot!
@@user-ej5bd4oq5v A US vs US pilot duel would be amazing but not an f14 vs a raptor. You can’t do anything with a plan that can come to a stop, fall out of the air for thousands of feet before changing directions to shoot down the Tomcat at the base of the said horizontal falling leaf maneuver. WTF. It would never get to that anyway because the F22 would knock the Tomcat out of the sky from longer distance while being mostly invisible. 😬😬😬😬😎🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely incredible photography and the pilot from this day forward to me will be known as the “Dancer”
this is the dude we need filming UFOs. great camerawork
And Bigfoot/Nessie too! 😂
