Love your videos, Tina. I'm in the states and have just started series 4 of "The Crown" and am enjoying it. My grandfather came here from Bolton, so I am vested in your country and love all the history. My grandpa never lost his British "brogue/accent" and colloquialisms which I loved and continue to use. I'm 81, so have had a great time over the years. Made a trip across the pond in 2005 and loved it so much. Cheers, dear lady!
Oh how lovely to hear a bit about you. I love that you use some of your grandfathers colloquialisms. So pleased that you enjoyed your visit here back in 2005, you sound like you really enjoy life. Yes I am still enjoying the Crown also x
These double envelopes are so cute and fun to make! So enjoyed The Queen! I saw her in Toronto when I was about your daughter’s age and fell in love. Not so sure about some of the Royals but I think she is an amazing lady. We too binge watched The Queen’s Gambit and we’re sorry when it ended. We remember the time of the USA and the USSR playing for dominance in the world of chess. ( Obviously older than yourself😂) So well portrayed in this series. Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦🎄
What a wonderful memory for you. I can remember being glued to the Royal Wedding about the same age, and it has stuck with me ever since. The Queens Gambit was awesome wasn't it? I had never realised that Chess had ever been such a big thing, it was really quite fascinating. Stay safe x
Morning Tina, thank you for the giggle you gave us about the postman, I really needed the laugh. Your Christmas Journal is magnificent and i know whoever owns it will be proud to do so. Thank you for this fun tutorial, I always enjoy watching them and it is like having a coffee with a good friend. Keep safe and well, look after yourself. Blessings and hugs. Diana.
I loved making these with you! Our paper in the US is smaller so mine came out kind of smallish… but very cute! Lots of fun! I will be making quite a few of these for sure! Mass makes are always my favorites! 🌸😊🌸
It finally dawned on me I could buy A4 paper from Amazon. It really helps when you buy Tina's digital because you get the size she designed for without the printer shrinking everything. Just remember to change your paper-size settings back to 8.5x11 American paper size before you print other things. Enjoy! I certainly have.
I love the idea of the double pocket. I think it would be cool to mix them up a bit and leave one of the envelope ungluded to use as a flip-out journaling place. So fun. I love these mass makes especially when I can put my own spin on them. Thanks for sharing with us.
Super cute envelops pockets loving the double pockets and your papers are so beautiful, blue is my favorite color so I'm loving that pocket!! Hope to get some make some this weekend adding to my stash. Thanks for sharing as always!!!
The sugar belle bottle seems to be working awesome for your inexpensive glue. Well done! This is such a great piece of ephemera. I can see it holding pieces of things to use in a journal. Love this one!
P.S. These are a great showcase for your papers, like the French Blue!!!! I've really appreciated your making a point to tell us where we can find each design you are working with. And a coffee or tea-dyed plain page in every kit has been SOOOO useful. Thanks as always. Sincerely, a devoted fan 😉
Thank you so much, I am really pleased that you find it helpful to know which papers I'm using, also for the feedback about the coffee dyed plain page x
Good Morning Tina 🌞.. I don't believe I've seen these before... I think I'll do some today.. love the blue one! That paper is beautiful.. sleeves are very pretty, I was hoping you wouldn't get glue on ink on them .. Hope you have a wonderful day.. hugs to you and your family.. Stay Safe❤️
Thank you so much Donna, have fun with these. Yes as soon as I started filming I thought what a mistake the sleeves were! Thankfully they stayed glue and ink free this time. Have a wonderful day also x
These are so pretty and creative! Love your papers so much, just purchased a few. Can’t wait to make one of these. Thank you for sharing your talent.💜😎
My first thought was: oh nooo a white jumper and the wonderful sleeves, please don't ruin that .... These envelopes are so super easy and beautiful, thanks for that great idea! Snowy greetings ♡♡♡
Tina-- these are absolutely great! And out of one piece of paper. I think I'll print with Christmas paper and have the top paper open for a handwritten note and tuck a few pictures in the back envelope .
I was able to use my digital prints that printed out wrong to make this project...omg 😲 they came out amazing, tysm Tina for the ideas 💡 loved this xo 💖
Hi again Tina, I have left my request to join your shabby dabby doo dah Fb page & am excited to share some of my craft pics. ☺ I'll be hanging my hat up for my job in 1week after 15years and look forward to going through all the mass making videos you have shared. My daughter in law is arranging a trip for London next year after her final exams in nursing, she is from Croydon, hope the co-vid will be settled or it may be delayed, ive always wanted to do some traveling and I am over the moon I get to do it before I turn 50...3 more years omg 😲 😍 lol..I've just started a traveling journal for me to bring so I can fill it up with good memories..thank you Tina I have enjoyed your youtube videos, and believe me, you have kept me company when I'm up at 2am here hehehe 😉 big hugsss xo
Beautiful Sweater. I love these envelopes but I don't have double sided papers. I might try stamping or using my distress inks. Thanks for sharing. 💜💜💜✌✌Sherry
Those are great! Love them! I’ll definitely be making some..I’m thinking I might do a couple leaving the bottom one unglued to use for journaling. tfs ❤️
We are in a similar position - my daughter is 21 the week before Christmas, and she really wanted us all to go to Paris, but I just think it’s too risky to book anything at the moment. I’m making her a Paris journal instead and maybe we’ll pretend her 22nd is her 21st next year! 😂
I have searched high and low today, through my craft cupboard, and drawers and boxes for my tearing ruler and cannot find it anywhere. Think it must have ran away with your bone folder. X
Pretty project. Yes, your sleeves are an issue. I saw what looked like them drag through some glue...hope I'm wrong. It would be a shame to ruin that pretty ruffle. TFS 😊
Love Love this paper!! And the cute ideas!! Yes here it's 8 1/2 x 11 card stock here ❤ At the time of my comment on here is 12 Midnight Central Standard Time. Did you see the link I sent you about the series of The Queen? Will the new Freebie go up today December 1st?
Thank you for clarifying the paper size. No, I didn’t see a link at all, was it on a comment? The freebie should be up on my website Shabbydabbydoodah.co.uk x
These are great envelopes to have on hand! A great mass make! 😃
