Hey, thanks for all the guides and hard work, your guides really helped me expand my league mechanic repertoire and found out I really love Heist which I had been avoiding. Anyway, I've been playing a few leagues now and while I'll be playing a Jugg this time round I realised that one option is open that wasn't before: That of figuring out your own build as you go! One of the things that was in the launch announcement but seems to have gone under the radar since is that you can respec with gold. This means for the first time in PoE just playing around and figuring out a build as you go is viable and not gated behind regrets like it always has been. I think there's a great option for a guide there on how to organically evolve your own build. I don't doubt this is a time when you're really busy with other videos but if you felt like one more I think that's a little gap in the guide ecosystem that could be fun to explore. Jungroan is so goated. Saw the change to Power Siphon and thought "There HAS to be a miner build that could make this insane," and an hour later he puts up that new guide. The endgame angle you will want to go with this build is +levels to Hexblast (and Sandstorm Visage, obviously), so with 1-3 levels from amulet, 2 from wand, and 1 from shield, and potentially even more from a corrupted body armour, you can reasonably expect to be around 8-12M dps without god-tier investment.

Hexblast bases its damage on the enemy's lowest resistance, rather than their Chaos resistance. It can Shock, Ignite, and Freeze. It deals AoE damage if the enemy is cursed, which is why it's able to clear very well. Flammability and Ele Weakness stack to lower their resistance further than either could on their own. Curses applied by our Skitterbots take 250ms (.25s) to reapply after being cleared by Hexblast, which is why we need a second source of curse on hit. Having to wait .25s between each hit is a massive loss in ST damage, whereas the curse on hit from a ring is applied AFTER the Hexblast hit has removed the initial curse, meaning we never lose curse uptime while blasting enemies.

@@neferpitou5766 Afaik curses get removed when they are hit by hexblast, so curse on hit ensures that things that survive the first hit are immediately recursed.
Sabo is good, but it's not as consistently tanky. Ghost Dance is exceptional for sustained defense, and it will only be better next league with new armour bases. It doesn't show up in PoB, whereas Master of Shadows for Sabo does.
It can but you cannot compare it to something like last league bow builds as nothing comes close to those in terms of pure mapping. However this is still a good skill overall and doesnt struggle while mapping as you get big explosions that can clear large groups of mobs its just not gonna blow up the entire screen and then offscreen. I played the saboteur version and it is quite fast with sheild charge and I prefer that over trickster and having to manage with a mana flask but that was a while ago and there might have been changes. It is pretty squishy though comparing to other builds and you will die randomly at times if you arent used to dodging. But short answer yes its a good mapper.

@@nikolasdonathan292 i would say only go occultist if you’re planning to literally live in sanctum for the first few days of the league. It will be absolutely miserable to map with unless you have good gear.
How good is hexblast during the campaign if you buy a Dreadarc Cleaver?
Janky. Maybe fine.
is there a better solution for mana? I am using the flask but itd be so much better without the flask.
Mana flask is the best approach. You can use the life mastery to convert mana cost into life, if you must
Would you recommend going into hexblast of contradiction at any point?
That's more of an Inquisitor thing, since they get Inevitable Judgment.
Hi thanks for your sharing, is this build able to do Sanctuary farming?
its one of the best builds for sanctuary farmer
^
i wanted to ask if its good idea to swap to life stacking build with Dissolution of the Flesh i remember doing it in tota league and i followed captain lance build it did cost ALOT but it was like 100mil build and i was tanky aswell i had 18k life pool wonder if it can still work in this league from what i know nothing really changed except adorned nerf but i didnt even use high rolled adorned before either
Well, that definitely won't be affordable day 1, but yeah, that would absolutely be a good direction to go in long-term!
question why the curse flammability not frostbite
Either, like was said in the video. Make sure you have correct exposure on gloves.
is there a reason for using things like curse on hit for flammability and elemental weakness even though its doing chaos dmg?
I've got a problem with detonate mine + automation - it doesn't work for some reason. I've had a mastery "detonate while you're moving", but I've respeced out of it (so I don't have it now). I've tested with just base mine gem and automation+detonate mines without any other gems on my gear - it not working. Maybe anyone knows about this issue?
Are there enemies nearby? Hexblast mines cannot detonate unless there are enemies to target.
@@PathofEvening Thanks for your answer. I've figured it out - automation is not working in a hideout for some reason.
PS I've tested it with different mines (pyroclast, stormlast and a couple more).
PPS Your build is a blast. I'm enjoying it very much.
What bandits should i choose after changes?
Move speed during the campaign, vendor 20 Regrets and an Onyx Amulet once you're ready to swap to the extra passive point.
How do I calculate POB damage for hexblast mines?
Set the count of how many mines you have down
Maybe its a dumb question but why do we use a curse on hit ring if we already have profane proxy applying a curse?
@@neferpitou5766 Afaik curses get removed when they are hit by hexblast, so curse on hit ensures that things that survive the first hit are immediately recursed.
@@Ekkaia153 yea it says in the wiki that profane proxy reapplies the curse only within 250ms so there is a slight delay
That's right. You need both or there's a weird quarter-second delay that massively reduces your ST damage potential.
ok i found my league starter
@@contrakt666 for real?
Sabo is good, but it's not as consistently tanky. Ghost Dance is exceptional for sustained defense, and it will only be better next league with new armour bases.
It doesn't show up in PoB, whereas Master of Shadows for Sabo does.
how is hexblast? compare to explosive trap sharpel?
Better.
Is this a good santum build tree?
Yup.
ZDPS?
If you rock with just campaign gear and a 5-link, absolutely, yeah.
Can't we still use March of the Legion for divine blessing?
@@Kaissaz no it wasnt. the boots hasnt been touched
You can, but the cost of a level 25 DB is VERY high.
can i do hexblast with pathfinder?
You could. It will work, but it's definitely going to have a very different feel from Trickster, and the charge-stacking potential won't be as high.
Any reason not to link Enduring Cry to the automation setup? Thx
Not an instant skill so won't work
@@AvKriftan gotcha thx
Thx for answering this
Leaguestarter also as a HC character?
Yeah, there are a ton of people planning to league start HC as a trickster.
i dint know why but im getting an error while trying to import the pob
You're on the wrong version of PoB. You need the 3.25 passive tree. Options → Opt in to most recent beta.
@@PathofEvening thank u
How tanky is this build and can It do mapping?
It can.
Wrong PoB brother, the one you linked is level 12
You're on the wrong version of PoB. You need the 3.25 passive tree. Options → Opt in to most recent beta.
Which loot filter from the list?
Depends on what content you're doing, big dog. Start with the normal leveling loot filter, progress in strictness as you move through maps!
@@PathofEvening Thank you, fellow big dawg, big ups for the guide😎😎😎
Would this be good on a scion?
Gut answer is no. You could make it work but not recommend
Dude is this build good for boss end game? Like i already have my RF chief farming maps... But when i went to bosses ffs got wrecked
Yup, that's what it's for.
@@PathofEvening but still can mapping btw? Guess ill do that build today :D
@@lucascosta7059 it can map, it’s pretty well rounded.
@@markvergara well i did today a dark pact skele necromancer, well appears be cool
How good is it for mapping and blight ?
Same question - how is this for blight?
It's really good against Blight mobs.
is this build can be use to maping? it look like it could but im never play this build before.
Trickster's pretty smooth in maps. It's a miner, so it's not going to be comparable to a bow build, but it is decent.
yes trickster is very tanky, so get some more area effect on hexblast and mapping should be smooth
@@PathofEvening ty for summarizing my excessive explanation lol. But yes the way I liked to think of it was explosions I threw into big groups to watch em go boom.
Warden Hexblast Miner. Thank me later. ;D
Very experimental
@@PathofEvening
Uber viable for bad players?
Yup!
How is he generating endurance charges?
Enduring Cry is one way. Searing Exarch Body Armour implicit that generates Enduring Charges every 15 seconds also works.
It's honestly so disheartening to see builds you wanna try out and then it's like 100 divines worth of gear just to start.
Some stuff does require a lot of farming
are there gonna be updates on this build throughout the league?
Probably not since it's not going to be Llarold's league starter, but we'll see
Surprised how eastern poe blogers hypes on this dogshit then you have hexblast occultist more then a year
No idea what you're saying
