I always thought "Item Sells for Much More to Vendors" was for "lol mirror item" memes, not for corruption purposes. That makes a lot more sense now even pre-TotA.
Use imprint beast while it’s magic. Use beast that rerolls 1 of the synth implicits at random. Use imprint if you hit +1 power, and repeat. You can get a fresh imprint whenever the current 3 are better than your existing imprint.
@@GrimmJohn6 it only matters if you intend to split the item. If you don't, the tag means nothing. All the heist bases like cogwork ring I got were already split (and not split cost at least 2x), likely because the bases are already rare so the person who found one wanted to sell it twice, so they split the ring into 2 copies and put them both up
Is there opportunity to make profit with synthesising bases/rolling vivid vultures other than fully finishing mirror items, or is the likelihood of valuable synthesis mods so low that you are unlikely to make a profit short of finishing the craft?

Yes, that's basically it. The vaal orb can hit one of the 4 implicits, if it hits the item sells for much more you have now a 4th hopefully useful implicit. But, as said in the video, that's usually done with hinekora lock which are crazy expensive and you can't mirror a corrupted item. So, it stay up to the person to try vaal that 4th implicit
So if I want to try and get a frenzy charge ring, its best to get the 3 synth implicit before spamming vivid vultures? That way each attempt is rolling 3 times instead of just 1?
yeah i got carried through the acts and then bought 5 ways while wearing 17% mroe xp gear --- took ~7 hours to get 99 doing that. I also made 246 divines from leveling + double corrupting gems that I leveled while doing 5 ways, including the cost of the 5 ways. Making 35d /hr while leveling 1-99 aint too bad!
1/16 for 3 mods last time i tried to roll jewels and i hit 1 three in 80 tries with my rng lovely.... ah edit i also forgot the 50 tries on my std helmet i did before that without a 3 mod
roll implicit with beast crafting (vivid vultures) + imprint (craicic chimerals) , probably around 5+ mirrors till you get the implicit you wanted or if you get lucky less than that. way cheaper if you just mirror the item from someone.

Makes sense. To get the synth items, we don't do any synth maps, but do beast/harvest.

Noob question. What is split? Can you craft on it like normal?
Split items cant be split again :) This is to avoid a good item base being split and sold over and over again
