    Wait so if I hold the unlock button my Jeep will start up? I have this exact one

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  Год назад +1

      No, you have to lock the vehicle and then double tap the engine start button on the key fob. I showed that in the video.
      Unlocking it won't do anything.

    Have you taken the stock 4xe sahara trim real off-roading? I am curious to know what kinds of trails/obstacles it can do. I am thinking of purchasing one but don't know exactly how capable it is at offroading as compared to the 4xe rubicon with the dedicated off-road tech. Everywhere online just shows rubicons dominating the trails makes me wonder if the sahara is really that bad at off-roading.

      It’s still going to be good, lockers and sway bar disconnect definitely help! If you aren’t doing anything too hardcore or going often, the Sahara would be fine!

    I rented one of these while in Las Vegas to go to the Valley of Fire and Hoover Dam. My son and I were not impressed. Note, we're comparing this to my 2015 F150 Lariat. Hated the position of the window switches. Does anyone else but Jeep put them in the center console? For the supposed power it has, the accelleration seemed lacking compared to the 3.5 twin turbo in my F150. There is basically no front-seat storage except two cupholders (I have six in my F150). While the cargo net storage in the doors looks cool, when we put anything of weight in them and closed the door it banged into the frame and the doors would not close. So the door storage is uselss unless you are storing somehing like maps.
    Our drive was about 200 miles and the battery never charged. It was always less than 1%. Does it only charge if you plug it in? We averaged just 21.3 MPG, which is what I get in my F150 in the summer. Considering we were driving in the desert with no traffic or traffic lights, I would have averaged about 23 MPG in my Ford. Although, when we picked up the rental, it showed it with a 19.1 MPG average, so it improved with our trip.
    We thought the ride was rough and noisey, but the turning radius is awesome. The seats were not too comfortable and in the desert heat I would have really appreciated the cooled seats in my F150. Does Jeep offfer cooled seats? For the price, it should be standard.
    The center console and video display is cluttered with too much information. I know Ford has changed Sync since I bought my Ford, but less is more as Ford just has the essential information I need. Jeep seems to add way too much information just to be gimmiky. Although, we did like that you could choose the theme of the displays. And finally, my son hated that every time he plugged his phone into the USB it would want to configure to to the vehicle and each time you pressed cancel, it prompted again. It annoyed him so much he used the rear seat USB connector. And a PSA to people who rent vehicles, if you connect your phone to the infortainment system, be sure to delete it before you return the vehicle. We could see all the phone numbers stored in people's phones who rented before us. We deleted your phones from our rental.
    I just priced out a 2023 F150 4x4 super crew with the XLT High package and it came out to $52,715. In the video, he said the Jeep was about $63,000. For the price, I would definitely buy the F150 over this Jeep.

      Well the window controls are there because the doors come off, so if you want to take the doors off, that's what you would get used too, same with the Ford Bronco, window switches are by the center consul. I just had a rubicon 4xe for a week and the battery will charge. If you have it in Hybrid, it won't, but if you leave the vehicle in "E-save", it will in fact charge the battery. I was very impressed with it's ability to go from 20% to 95% in one hour of driving in "e-save". You can also plug it in as well, but it will recharge as you drive. It also weights 5200 pounds, so it has a lot of weight to move, F150 is significantly lighter.
      I would agree, ventilated seats should be standard for the price and it's normal for them to ride a little rough. Wind noice is also expected because everything comes off. You have to be in that mindset of what this SUV has to offer and somethings that are completely different from a "regular" vehicle.
      Two different types of vehicles, people really aren't cross shopping an F150 and Wrangler.

      Yeah I've heard some negatives with Jeep. However I don't think it will really break the bank. Especially being new under warranty
