I checked on my F36 LCI but I don’t have that pipe so I think that BMW solved problem moving that in another area..

I do not think your coolant hose is in the right place. That looks like someone has been tinkering
The most common problem is radiator water pipe getting cut.
They are possible faults, not common fault it is what i have found.
