Fantastic Grades Spiff!!! My favorites are Warlock and Doom! CRAZY that Doom got an 8.5 (same as my highest)....which is why I love MCS as a buyer. Congrats bud.
Thanks, Spec. Yeah, it is definitely satisfying when you can find key books that appear to be in better condition than what the seller described and it actually pays off with a great CGC grade. With MCS, they only give you that one photo to look at for every auction lot, so it can be tough to accurately judge condition, especially when you can only see partial covers for some books because they are placed halfway underneath another book (and there are no photos of the back covers). Fortunately, this was only three books, so the covers were all in full view, but even so, issue #15 ended up having a lot of flaws that were not readily apparent in the photo. It was accurately graded as a reader copy. Fortunately, they severely under-graded the most valuable issue #20 which should have at least been in the Fine to VF range instead of G/VG.
