yea I think that's probably the main reason why big boy has gotten so good, because he has Scotty as a mentor. I'm not undermining big boy's work or anything but I can imagine having one of the best riders in the world essentially coach you for years would push your riding to progress abnormally fast and to a high level
i think he meant that u know that he was the best but cause u don't see him riding anymore on that lvl u tend to lose the images of it. Like i can guarantee to u that if u think now how good he was and go back to the old videos u realize that u are thinking woah, thats even better than i remembered or something similar. And thats just the way human memory works.

I just want to first say to whoever reads this and hopefully it's Scott and these guys making these videos every day for us, Scott is an inspiration to everyone watching these daily vlogs, especially me. I own a newer bmx bike but with being in my mid 30's it's a lot harder to get out and ride as often as one would like and I'm nowhere near as good or agile as I was when I rode back in my late teens but it's all about having fun and getting away from work or everyday life. Secondly I believe BigBoy is one of the god damn luckiest and most fortunate dudes on the planet to have Scotty as a coach and mentor in BMX. I wish I could live by and be friends with these guys that would be an awesome experience. Keep it up guys your viewers love you guys and hope you all have the best of everything in life you deserve it! \M/

I hope (which I'm sure he does) that Bigboy realizes how lucky he is to have a BMX guru to teach him. Hey Scotty and crew, been watching this channel a few years, im a little older (36 yrs old) and never rode before, skateboarded as a kid in North jersey but hung it up when I got bursitis in my knee.Anyways this channel got me amped to finally take a plunge and buy a bike, I live in a small city in PA, and I've been having a blast just riding around the city streets, not quite ready to do tricks yet but thank you for the inspiration, your videos make me feel like part of your clique even though Im not lmao.

When I was younger the funnest our crew had was when we did a month long “trick-a-day” challenge at our trails. That’s when I learned a ton of X-up variations and my favorite was the x-up no footer. Makes me wanna ride again!
