I am new to the Harley work and since purchasing my 2021 Street Glide I have stumbled across this channel and your advanblack channel. I have self installed a few Ciro pieces and you have certainly saved me money on dealership service fees, all of your vids have been awesome and i have subscribed to both channels.
This Ciro saddlebag lights will be my next purchase and now that we are getting closer to the end of the season here in Canada i will be ordering lowers for my 2021 Street Glide along with a Trunk and some liners for trunk and saddlebag. Curious about the chin guard, love to see that but can't seem to find a video for that, would like to see how it looks.

if you have an engine light on, that means you have a code. Check your ETC codes, then go to this website and see what it is www.wilkinsharley.com/--Checking-Trouble-Codes-2019-Harley-Davidsons then clear your codes and turn the bike off and back on. See if the code comes back on. More than likely its an open circuit and it just needs reset. no biggie. Things like this will happen if you ever turn on the bike while you are installing or unplugging lights and plugging them back in. There are videos youtube that show you how to check your codes. Its easy. I hope this helps.
Great video!! Question...aren't the rear lights supposed to be red...when the turn signal is on they are yellow ??? 🤔
thank you ...but no not in the US...you can run red on red or red on ember...ciro offers both versions

Hi Steve, you are doing great work. I have noticed on my 17 RG that under the seat and under the faring there are some pretty major plugs that are not being used. also there are empty switchs that are plugged in but don't do anything. can you do a video on what these are all for? there seems to be a lot of potential for custom applications.

you can still use those with the magic strobe and have them flash they work fine I've got it installed on my bike and they look good and they flashed just fine
you have the sequential turn signals? I put them ont he other side and when I apply the brake and hit the turn signal at the same time, while the bike is flashing the turn signals wig out until the flashing is done..mines on a 5 second flash then full red. Im saying that while its in the 5 second flash mode and i hit the turn signal it wigs a little.
@@sikbaggers yeah that one might be a little different than mine I have the solid red mine don't have the one that goes Amber so maybe that's the difference
Yes sir...that's what I was explaining in the video..if u get just the red lights u can use the magic box...but with the sequential it makes them go goofy for a few seconds.

bagger blades are plug and play...plasma rods are wired into the harness...
When you use the blinker and press the brake at the same time does the brake lite go out?

I want the bag blades but can't decide on Ciro3D or Custom Dynamics. I've heard that if I get the magic strobes the Ciro3D won't flash but the Custom Dynamics do. Just curious your thoughts on the bag blades or what you recommend?
You can get the bag blades that are not sequential so they will flash with the box. I would give them a call to see which ones they are. The sequential signals go from inside out so when the box is flashing its only flashing the first set of leds in the sequence instead of the whole blade. I just bypassed my blades to not flash. I really like the sequential turn signals better than the flash. My bullets and tri bar light still flash.

I put these on my 18 rug and now the check engine light keeps popping up. Any ideas?
acheck engine light indicates you have a code. Check your dtc's. More than likely it is a low voltage code. If your bike is all OEM bulbs and you added LEDs this can cause the issue. You will need to change all of your bulbs to LED. I know it can be pricey to do so but LEDs are much brighter and will last forever. Ok so I searched ciro. There bag fillers look different then what’s on that black bike. So all I want is the fillers. Nothing else. The ones they show on there site is dual led on each Side. I don’t. Want that. I want exactly what you show. I don’t want the lid lights or license plate lights. Trying to keep it simple

Are these brighter than the HD bag blades?
Equally as bright I would say but a lot better looking...sleeker design than that big bulky bag light they sell
I can´t say about every Harley but the ones that I know all come from the factory with the possibility to leave the turning or hazard lights on with ignition off as well in accessory mode.
Very important and safe when you have to leave your bike in case of emergency to warn other traffic and of course you don´t want to leave the ignition on.
To my surprise I noticed that the controller that comes with the Ciro lights does not support the turning or hazard function with ignition off or in acc. mode.
I think this is an error in the controller. When discussing this with Ciro, they trivialise the problem and at first did not understand why this matters.
Even my suggestion to change this in future controllers to make the rear lighting a lot safer is not changing Ciro´s position in this. ´´It isn´t an issue´´ they say.
How come you took off the cvo rear fender?!
Just not my style ....I didnt care for the gap around the exhaust plus I went no cut out bags and custom turn down exhaust. The cvo fender doesnt come in no cut out ..just dual exhaust.
@Steven Housden i agree, i switched mine to the cvo style rear fender and feel the gap is huge around the exhaust and i have cfr’s
Can you explain your exhaust setup. I've been trying to find a way to hide my exhaust from the rear, but not have it on the side pissing off the old lady. Thanks.

It's not a good idea to mount the lights on the saddlebacks. For example, I often take them off, and then the wires will have to be disconnected every time, if I remembered. 🤣🤣🤣
With all of these videos and the amount of times I pull mine apart to clean I still put them on. Tons of people mount lights on their bags. Literally thousands...its quick disconnect, takes an extra minute to unplug them, so its not so much a bad idea..its just a bad idea for someone who doesnt have an extra minute and cant be bothered to take one extra step. 🙄🙄🙄
