Was a simple install. A bolted gauge interface would give some trustworthy feelings into long-term adhesion.
To wear the weather changes in temperatures and weather conditions don't allow the 3M tape to fail.
I hope it don't.
Thank you for videos and gave you a ciro3d thumps up & how I seen them. Even though I have there products from past installs.
Hope it helps. You deserve it my man.
Hey Ken thank you...Ive had them on here for awhile now and live in southern illinois..we get extreme weather snaps here and Ive had no issues with the adhesion so far. Were getting 8 inches of snow dumped on us now...and it can get in the 100's in the summer...however I do keep the bike stored inside in the winter. Thanks for checking out the video! Be safe!
@@sikbaggers thanks Steve. It has some places of not do good contact points that worry me with moisture. I will say the 3M tape ciro3d used is a nice adhesive.
I think a couple bolts going through in areas of the drilling would qaurante a longer adhesive to a good product.
I thank you for your vids and time.
From Washington state keep your knees inda breeze.

Thank you Steve, Just started following you, this video was just what i was looking for. thank you for all your detailed installation procedures. you rock. keep up the great work
Thank you Joe..glad it helped you sir. Be safe!
Wish this fit my 2007.. would look good with the 2.0/ bag kit I ordered
No im sorry man...its a 14 and newer part.
I really dig the way you go in to detail with the install brother, RESPECT from Missouri ✌️ N ❤️brother
Hey neighbor! thank you!! Much appreciated brother.
@@sikbaggers no problem brother, do you live in Missouri to
@@OZARKSHDRIDERS No..over in Illinois....the crap hole state lol
@@sikbaggers well I don't know about that 😂🤣😂, but I sure do like the way you that you go into detail with your videos, keep up the good work brother,💯
With non painted faring. You suggest gorilla double back?
Or add some gorilla tape in places?
That 3M isn't that great. Being a painter. I chose not to paint faring this winter & did stereo & this ciro3d stuff.
Any tips you would of done differently now be much appreciated Steve.
Thank you for vids & replies from your other vids.
This sinister system I did us unreal for $1300.00 taxed & delivered with.
4speakers, amp, all hardware supplied with a fender cover.
Extra speaker grills for thrown in to match & fitness.
Check them out.
Thank you !! You do a awesome job !! I have the Dash Accent installed but wasn’t sure how to do the speaker accents, now I do. Thank you !!
Hey David...youre welcome man! Much appreciated. Im loving the dash and speaker accents..Pretty sweet.
I am curious I know this video is a few years old. but the question I have is. instead of hooking the power and ground straight to the battery, can I hook the power and ground off the amp under the fairing so that my control knob is up on the fairing? I already have under glow light s from another company on the bike and would only be installing the dash and speaker lights . BTW I love your videos and have learned a lot from watching. Thank you for what you do here. MLH&R
Great question Sam and thank you for that! Much appreciated. And a short answer is yes you could..but I wouldn't hook anything to the amp. You are taking the chance of getting a buzz in your speakers from the LEDs. However, there are a few "key on" power sources under your fairing. You should have a 2-pin connector at the top left with a yellow wire on it...that is key on power. You could tap into that for power and get the same result without issues.
Hey Steve.....great video as always....quick question.....what brand of speakers are on your bike?
Thanks man..Im running all SP Audio speakers. They are an Italian Audio company. Im running the 6.5 Extreme Neos in the fairing with 1" sp -tw14s where the mirrors used to be. 6.5 Extreme Neos in the lowers, 8" SP8CM in the lids with SP - TW24s bullet tweeters.
Steve can’t thank you enough for all the awesome videos you do for us and I was hoping you could answer a question I have or give some good advice. I’m on a budget just like we all are and I want to run led lights in side my speaker grills it’s the bat wing with the pods thank you
Steve you need to do a short video on how you hang your tour pack and bags on the wall.
Got you covered Dan...sheck out these two videos here ruclips.net/video/vDUr1xlMRRc/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/5n48YmZjE_8/видео.html
Great videos, does CIRO make ANYTHING for 2013 HD? Seems like all I see is stuff for the 2014 and up
The shock and awe kit, saddlebag extensions and the fork illuminators will work on 13 downs...all you need is a power source. Looks like this dash and speaker are still only for 14 up. The bag blades I did the video on are also available for 13 down models. Just have to go in to ciro and go to the main item page and see what is offered. I directly linked to the 14 up pieces that I purchased.
Can you use them without the other lights?
@@freerunningnj9853 yes, you can use this encoder here if you do not have the shock and awe starter kit www.ciro3d.com/product/42000-shockawe-manual-encoder
Steve Thanks for all info!!
youre very welcome..glad to help!
Does this dashboard light kit light up your gages enough to be able to see the needles in them if factory gauge lights don't work ?
It does light up the gauge area pretty well.
great instructional video. Love how it works.
gotta say...TOP QUALITY vid. Keep up the great work. Love that you dont beg for money too! KICK ASS
Thank you much appreciated. Yeah we want to save people money not take it. More money for gas in your tank! Be safe !
Steven Housden right on bro. Nice work and thank you for the content!
Beautiful bike! I enjoy the videos, very informative. 🍻
Thank you sir..much appreciated.
I’m looking getting the connector pins that I can put on bars wires could you attach a link
i have j&m rokker 6.7 speakers with tweeters on the speaker covers will the speaker accent still fit
Hi Steve, I'm a fan/subscriber to your channel.. know previous led install video. You mentioned a distribution block.
What style of power distribution strip/block/lever lock style did you use in your previous led install?
I'm just not liking the over crowded +/- batterey terminal clutter from all my electronics added on my 2020 street glide.
I'm looking to clean up terminal connections. To help aid my periodic maintenance & dealer 15k etc scheduled warranty maintenance.
You elevate possible damage to my added trinkets.
Thank you,

Hey Ken....I was using one I got a local hardware store that had a cap and an fuse which made them pretty bulky. I recently switched it out to these on amazon smile.amazon.com/Terminal-Power-Distribution-Block-Bus/dp/B07TJ2GPBF/ref=sr_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=weatherproof+power+distribution+block&qid=1609675957&sr=8-12 they are about 5 inches long and has no additional fuses. With all of my positives already having inline fuses I didn't need the additional bulk from a fuse. The terminals are pretty close to each other with no separator and the eyelets on my bigger wires touch each other but once again the inline fuse has me covered if something happens. (hopefully) These can be stashed behind your side covers or in front of the battery. My bikes dont have ABS so I have a lot of room under my right side cover so that's where I put them. There are several on amazon like this to choose from...but this is the set im using and so far so good.
@@sikbaggers thank you. I was looking at those. I have abs & cruise. My firewall stores my JC Baggers stuff. Abs stores my led leads so I'm not craming battery area. Then my left side stores my blow off.
I'm hoping I can maybe run frame rails under side covers.
Thank you brother.
can i use just the gauge cluster lights without the speakers and the frame lights using just the controller?
The main shock and awe kit is needed for the dash...the dash is just an add on but it can be ran separate from the speakers.
Hi Steve, do you have to use ciro3D extension cables with led dash kit or will RGB led extension leads connect?
Youll need the ciro ones only because the plugs are proprietary to ciro 3d
Does this help with the handling of the bike ?
they are lights...so no.
Question I purchased a light kit from a video you did in past not Ciro but a Amazon brand would these dash/speaker work with that setup to control lights?
unfortuantly no...the ciro lights are all propietary to themselves and must be used with the shock and awe kit. Must be used with SHOCK & AWE rotary controller 42000 or SHOCK & AWE 2.0 Controller kit 41035
@@sikbaggers ok well that sux..lol their headlight bezel ya did in another vid on is that is just a plug and play into stock hd?
What engine and bag speakers are those
Great video, like the details you explain
Thank you Robert! Much appreciated man..be safe!
Does that come in black?
only in chrome..sorry
Cool
Thats awesome!
thanks for checking it out and the comment! Glad to help!
Seems no-one has anything for Electra Glide Classic 1995 anymore..
Yeah anything older than 14 is hard to work with LED and anything older than 09 is even worse with accepting LED without having to buiy and install load resistors which are a pain
Do these guys ever give out coupon codes
Not that im aware of...veterans discounts but I dont think Ive ever seen a coupon...they run specials sometimes on the site too.
