Golden Syrup is a light treacle. Many countries have access to clear corn syrup which is great for modelling chocolate, however it is not readily available in some countries where Golden Syrup is easier to find. If you have clear corn syrup, use 100g to 300g chocolate.
I don't know what it is about Rosie but I could watch her all day, as well as everything being super easy to follow she makes me want to give her a big hug lol!! x
thank you for the simple recipe. i have a question. Can i make figures like hearts etc with this modelling chocolate and pour it in gelatin for a jello cake ?
Alice Wade Same principle but different ratios Alice. Totally depends on the type and quality of chocolate. It looks like I should do a proper blog doesn't it!
+Rosie Cake-Diva Yes! Please do! I am more interested in making milk and dark modeling chocolate, please also include corn syrup amounts. we can't get golden easily here in the US

Hi Rosie can you cover a cake with modeling chocolate please? I would love to see how does it work! I love your videos thank you so much for your good explanation!
+Orichminah Zare You can but I prefer to mix it with fondant (sugar paste). Modelling chocolate on it's own can be very susceptible to heat and you sometimes see people have disasters because it has melted. xx
+Rosie Cake-Diva I need to try work out my auto correct, but you so funny and refreshing, must thank Joyce see invited me originally to see your scopes. Now I'm an addict I'm going to try both I did find some karo corn syrup in tesco. But glad you posted this saying use golden syrup
