The bolt module should have a trigger in IE from a hik villa door station so you can trigger it through your intercom rather than flicking between apps to let someone in if your away and they are calling for something.
The lock is connected to Bluetooth, not WiFi. It's only connected to WiFi if you add a Bold Connect, and if the WiFi goes down, the Bold Connect (which is like a bridge) just disconnects. The lock is standalone so works on batteries and connects with bluetooth. The batteries last 2+ years!!

So if I want to have Smartthings to unlock the door during the day, the first person through the door will have to twist the cylinder?
Dont get me wrong but.. isnt this lock already on the market for like 3 years? I see a lot of shops posting it like something new
Hi - question about whether this conforms to current UK standards for cylinder locks, esp when it comes to lock snapping by burglars?
Can you make it so it's locked on the inside as well? I'm looking at replacing a lock that is keyed from both sides.
Dave, youve removed an Oval Cylinder from the door and what your trying to fit is a Euro Cylinder, they are different shapes
It appears that the lock does not actually unlock or lock the door but only allows you to do it manually after activating it. Is that true?
Yes, that's the way it works
Does it have Matter support?
So a letterbox tool if you're a locksmith or a bent piece of wire if you're a burglar will open it pretty easily then.
What would happen if the WiFi goes down? Does the door unlock?

If the Wi-Fi goes down the door wont unlock , you will just only be able to open the door with the App using Bluetooth 😊
Send one to LockPickingLawyer on RUclips and see how secure he finds it. 👍
Its not a traditional lock though , so no point as it doesn’t have the key barrel he refers to
@@DVSLTD He does digital only locks too. Take a look at his video 1072 for example. Not worried he will crack it are you? ;)
Супер!) Хотел поставить на дверь кнопочный кодовый замок, теперь увидел этот, хочу такой!)) 👍 Спасибо!

And just imagine the motor inside dies off...That is the reason for which 90%of the smart locks still have a physical key.
Just imagine if you lose upur key!
Its a problem yes. My plan is to use this only where I have also the secondary way of opening the space.
