    Peroxide does work well as an exfoliant and debrider (substance that removes debris from wounds). It's not about killing the germs, but pushing out little bits. Which those bubbles do well. .... ya know, i'm not sure. It does it. Whether or not it does it well i'm sure is debatable.

    Can 35% Food Grade HP be used safely internally(ingestion) if used at an amount daily where u just r able to feel some side effects? N if so would that be sufficient to help destroy some of not all of any unwanted microbe in ur body like a virus, bacteria or fungi?

    • @polaris7314

      Anything beyond 3% HP is too strong for ingestion or inhalation!
      I nebulize H2O2 daily for a year and a half, and I find 0,5% solution is enough for prevention from viruses and bacteria.

    Hey Dr. O, Is the enzyme Superoxide Dismutase what first starts the process of breaking down the Reactive Oxygen Species turning it into Hydrogen Peroxide that is further broken down into oxygen and water by the enzyme catalase? Is the oxygen released by the catalase breaking down of Hydrogen Peroxide any less toxic than the Reactive Oxygen Species?

    • @GrowGrayMatter
      @GrowGrayMatter  4 года назад +1

      Hi Amber. Superoxide dismutase turns superoxide (a reactive oxygen species) into stable molecular oxygen. This is very protective :)

    • @GrowGrayMatter

      Good question. It has a peroxide functional group because the 2 O's are bonded together. This does a better job of explaining why it is so reactive than using the term dioxide. I hope this helps :)
