    Do the handle bars hit the tank when turning? You recommend risers?

    • @Steve_MP5
      @Steve_MP5  5 лет назад

      vtecdpn100 they do touch of turned all the way. I ended up getting small risers just because.

    I just bought the ruck shop lowering kit - do you know if I can still use my pro taper bars if I use 7/8 or 1.5” risers that the ruck shop told me to do?? Would like to know what you think cuz man I dunno - looks like a tight fit.

    Hye sir, if we install front fork lowering kit, can we use original handle bar or not? Tq

  • @Kirkorr123
    @Kirkorr123 5 лет назад

    How is that a lowering kit? The forks are in the same position. Also why did you add a fork extender with a spring? Thanks

    • @Steve_MP5
      @Steve_MP5  5 лет назад

      kirk orr the extender and spring allows for more travel inside. So it sits higher in the fork (lowering it). Springs give it travel suspension so it’s not ridged. It will bottom out on a big bump if you’re not careful.

    You hooked that thing up dude. Do these clip ons change the riding or seating position at all? How's the comfort level? I use mine as a commuter.

    • @Steve_MP5
      @Steve_MP5  5 лет назад +2

      Armando Juarez more hunched over. Not as bad as a sport bike though. I’m about 6ft and it’s comfortable for me. I ended up getting the small risers from the ruck shop as well. Not because of riding position, but because the bars will hit the tank if you turn them all the way. Not a big deal because you rarely ever need to turn like that, but I’m OCD and I didn’t like it haha. If you’re looking for longer distance commuter, I don’t know how the comfort will hold up for you. That would be a personal decision on your part lol. Doesn’t bother me.

  • @jeffquinones4007

    can i leave the bike sitting on ground

    • @Steve_MP5
      @Steve_MP5  4 года назад

      I don’t see why you couldn’t. I just prop up the back to make it easier and sit straight instead of leaning.
