Odepro with the finger pad on/off swith is a great idea, shame about the flickering, that wraith torch was 2nd.to none...Great video, good to see side to side comparison.. 👍

Thank you Phillip , yes the finger pad is FAB, I tried it on the PBIR, as the end caps were identical until I checked the thread🤨
What a bummer, that would have been perfect.
Not to worry, Odepro said they liked my/our review and are sending another torch to try out .
Hopefully it’ll be working perfectly ?

Good honest review david and the boy done good , would agree with your summary although the definition on the wraith torch i thought was excellent , could not use the odepro with that flickering it would do your head in , look forward to the next one mate 👍

Could you please update your review about what happened to the flicking problem? Thanks!

I did, I mentioned that I’d used different batteries in my next video, and even showed the light working

Hi Cindy, if it didn’t flicker, it probably would be. I’m going to try it again with different batteries to see if that cures the fault

Ha Ha Ha, that was why I wanted to get the video done last night, as I knew you would be up and about. Line him up to appear on one of your podcasts, and rename it instead of
      "who I became" to
" what I would like to be" Thanks for your support matey, catch up at the weekend.

Thank you very much Robert, I was happy with how Munch got on with the project, we have just bought him a new laptop ready for next term, so I'm hoping I'll be able to just give him the memory cards from my kit, and leave him to it one day.
Thanks for watching and writing in.
      David.

Great review. Were the other 3 torches also 850nm, or 940nm?
Well done Munch, great job on editing!!

Hello welshtexas, thank you very much, I’ll pass that onto him in the morning👍
All the lights used were 850, it was a shame as the 940 would be good to use as we can’t see it, not sure about animals though?
      Thanks for watching
      David

When I turn on my ir light it’s just a little red beam is this how this is suppose to be?

    • @predatorprotectionuk
      @predatorprotectionuk  Год назад

That sounds like it’s a red filter lamp, if it’s IR, you shouldn’t be able to see it, or any red colour

Sorry chum, but that’s what these companies want, I’ve refused others since that video, as I know exactly what you mean.
How can anyone make opening a box interesting🤷🏼‍♂️
      But thank you for watching👍

cheap batteries can cause flickering in some lights ...

Your scope was doing better without the light 😂

    • @predatorprotectionuk

That’s sometimes the case chap, but in a dark barn with no ambient light, it would need some illumination assistance 👍
