Hey man, i really enjoy your designs. Please consider posting instructions for all of your builds, they are right now the best bionicle brickbuilt designs available, i would like to build these for myself.
That's very kind of you to say, I thought of maybe putting one of the designs/instructions up for vote, as a gift for Bio-day. Prior to sharing the instructions, I want to purchase the pieces to test the build i.r.l. and maybe see if a Kaita is possible ;)
The bohrok i might manage in time (probably sooner than Tahu) and thanks for noticing the floor! - basically its foundation is a circular array of wedge plates, on which I clamped some plates and then just filled the inbetween; the bohrok symbol itself was trial and error.
I finally managed to build it, but noticed I had to do some slight adjustments. The new instructions are in the description, though I want to do a video with my motley/built bohrok (from the last community post) to showcase/test-out/review (in about two weeks).
If I told my younger self that one day we'd have joints this tiny, he'd attack me (he was against ball-and-socket joints on principle because he was a child)
Well I'm glad you warmed up to the other pieces :) I think the first tow ball (mixel) joint I recall stems from 1974 as the hand of the maxi - sized figures, thus even predating the minifigure 1978.
I think that would be the safest bet; by appealing to the brick as well as the bionicle/Technic audience. Maybe they could retool the idea of bionicle minifigures aswell, wherein large action-figures come with a minifigure counterpart, as we see with 'Monkie Kid'.
@@toafellha8130 mini figures since 2005 to 2007 Hordika though they are like board game minifig a while piraka, inika, Mahri and barraiki become somewhat standard design for minifig though the mahri arm design kinda got me idea for b2 super battle droids arms less cracking as for hero factory completely different
@@klipsfilmsmelbourne yeah, I know of them, I actually own the Visorak Gate, though the Mahri Terrain Crawler probably is the best overall set. What I meant to say was that they get sold together and incorporate more of each others part elementary, as to blur the line of the different construction approaches. Like imagine an Ultimate Dume Action Figure fighting against Toa minifigures, Toa Bomonga coming in several sizes or a Kanohi Dragon having a Technic Frame but Cladding more akin to Ninjago.
The Rahkshi I can guarantee - already started building one in fact - but I am currently still stuck on a longer animation test so you might have to wait a little while.
Dang this looks great, if all those pieces were available in those colors I’d definitely build one, maybe I’ll try and build one anyways with the wrong colors though and see if I can make it look okay
I put instructions for an updated version in the description. I'll do a sort of review with my motley built model (last community post) in about two weeks. Except for the blue/white Krana, I think a Kohrak could be built. If you happen to live in (western) europe Bluebrixx might be an option for coloured mixel joints, atleast the brown and green mixel plates I stumbled upon worked great, other parts less so... if I ever manage to amass a representative amount maybe I'll review their piece quality.
Well hello there, glad you liked it. I plan on releasing the instructions for Bio-day ;) *Maybe check out my last video 'jungle temple', I think you'll like it.
While I won't share my specific secrets, I recommend using habrador's lego shader (free) as a base; tweaking the settings and (scratch/smear-) images to your liking... plus camera focus and slight lens distortion (occasionally also light rays) do a lot of the work, in creating the toy aestethic. Dust/Dirt/Smear, decolorization especially at the edges and saturation would be further tools in creating your style. Espero que eso te ayude. Si necesitas cualquier cosa sobre los ojos o 'god rays', solo dime.
I always appreciate it when people notice the environment/scenery, about a how-to video I'm still looking for the part to assemble + test the design out i.r.l., afterwards if it works out, sure why not :)
@toafellha8130 understandably not all parts exist in the right colors, like the mixel ball joints. Would still be cool to see a physical version even in wrong colors 🔥
You can expect a sort of review in about two weeks, with my motley/colourful physical bohrok. I slightly modified the original built for more sturdiness/accuracy, and uploaded the instruction-link of the updated Gahlok as my gift for Bio-Day ; ) (Link in description & last community post)

First I will build a physical model to test the function/design, so you might have to wait a couple of weeks... - is there maybe a special element type you'd like to see realized? - I already got a request for Kohrak.
I finally got around building a physical model and slightly improved upon the original design. The instructions are in the description, just keep in mind that atleast LEGO never produced all of the required pieces in those colours. I'll do a sort of review of the build in about two weeks.
It consists of: - the Chima axe head 11096 (it came in pearl gold & flat silver) - a pneumatic T-piece 4697b (also exist in pearl gold) Maybe check out my bohrok community post, if you want to see how it looks with a brick Bohrok Va or on my brick Mata Head ;)
Instructions for an updated model are now in the description, just keep in mind that for a physical model some piece colours were never produced by Lego.
