Honestly, the defence:offence win ratio strongly favours defence. I.e. most round wins come from defense as opposed to offence. I really dont think defence needs this buff even though I agree it would be an awesome change. Maybe if they even things out in the future this will be a good. change.
Raees Amla I fkng hate how defender favored this game is in general. Every ranked game I get attack it is actually annoying. Out of the 200 games I played this season, I played about 150 attack- more or less
I feel like attack should be able to know what objective they are attacking just as defense knows where they’re defending. I don’t see it fair that defense can always perfectly bring what they need for every round while attack is left to guessing or bringing a generic team composition
I agree they should change this big scope to something simmilar to clash pistol sight ,keep dmg that it has now and lower recoil to state of keratos or deagel it would be ballanced imo.
I think with the cheating thing, my one concern is even with higher ranks reviewing this, there still is a chance for error, remember when so many people pros especially thought Beaulo was cheating? It is only one instance, but I feel like it is somewhat relevant IMO

Warden definitely needs smoke nades. Right now his gadget literally relies whether the attacker's smoke plant, which is very less. Giving him smoke nades will definitely make him strong, so I feel it should first be tested with pros.

What if, for a seasonal event the maps were tracks for drone races. You can get certain boosts, upgrades. Things like a twitch drone upgrade for a few seconds. Make it a few laps. Do some crazy shit with it.

My thought is the defender could place some sort of device on top of a window that'll deny the wire to hang over the window therefore denying attackers to repel at a window. It wouldn't cut the repel cord and they'd only be allowed one of these devices.
What do you think about a buff to fuze in which his cluster charge shoots a grenade straight, up, down, left, right, or any order instead of just from left to right. I think this could give him a nice subtle buff and might be able to take out a few extra gadgets
I like the idea of the smokescreen as an added counter in the game. Cornered by offense and they dont rush in to get the kill, throw it down and punish their lack of aggression
The smoke idea for defence is actually good, it will play similar to how it is in csgo, defusing bomb in the smoke and can also be used for entry denial in most situations
Well, if you do a overwatch style mode for Rainbow, you also have to take into account that it's a heavily sound-based game, so you can track people through their footsteps if you have a good enough setup

Sunday Mailbox: I have talked to a bunch of people who play siege and some think while we love spending our time and money on siege. The cosmetic system is broken. I mean 25k for a headgear ? I had a proposed idea. The numbers don't have to be exact but what do you think of a system like this ? Here is how I would do it. Uniforms and Headgear are now integrated into 1 section. 500 for a headgear. 1000 for seasonal headgear 1000 for uniforms . 1500 for seasonal uniforms. 50 for basic charms. 100 for Medium tier charms 150 for high class charms 200 for special charms 1500 for gun skins 2000 for special gun skins
It would be cool a operator or gadget that is like a claymore but just ejects smoke in so you can't see the floor and prone people might be harder to see

Like when an attacker walks in their aim gets pulled towards the trap and they have to resist the pull in order to aim well, and the defender can get the peek off in that initial surprise stage of the pull. I think a secondary smoke gadget, limited to one per op that had it, would be a really nice buff to warden who feels virtually useless right now. I don't think it'd be that broken considering a single smoke doesn't last that long and the fact that offense has a lot of solutions to smokescreens like glaz, Iana, dokkabei, lion, jackal, flash bangs, grenades, and other aoe gadgets.
How about a prep op on defence? His ability allows him/her to put up barricades in half the time in addition to having 3 wall barricades instead of 2. This would also allow you to re barricade doors faster and would be useful beyond the prep phase.
Banana Sean sounds useless besides the 3rd reinforcement. Barricades aren’t used often in the game so having someone put a barricade up faster would be pointless. The third reinforcement could be a problem in map designing let that be in older maps and future ones as could change map flow as the maps were designed with the idea of 10 reinforcements, the third would be more of a nuisance to work with on a developer stand point
If you saw on the year 5/6 panel, they are working on a reputation system. Punishing toxic players who get reported a lot. And rewarding good players that don't get reported or get marked as a good player.

What about half sized reinforced walls? For e.g the bottom half so you can impact the top or vice versa and it would cost you the same amount of reinforced slots as normal.

I've died so many times due to being next to a drone hole. Attack OP pops a wild nade through a window, it lands near drone hole, me roaming on the other side of the hard wall several feet from done hole, dies instantly at 100 health and a sweater. I hope their explosive damage doesn't make this happen more often.
What do you think of an operator that can deny vertical destruction by laying down a mat of some sorts. This could provide the defenders with more sense of security.

This will allow a teammate to follow behind him and lean left or right without them having to control the character on their own. This will result in less team kills and the operator must accept the link in order for it to be applied. What do you think about this idea?
Sunday mailbox idea - for a buff for alibi what if when u placed down her holograms and stepped into one, the position u leave it is the position it stays in. For example if u step in and lean right. When u back out of it, it stays leaning right.

When the players would choose the options they want it would say on screen . 1/3 barbed wire left. Same for attackers, frags smokes maybe someone even gets an extra drone.

defenders have enough stuff for them, they don't need smokes, plus there are no counters besides Glaz, like there is for defense with Jager, Warden etc.

metaldiabolos86 every cam spot eventually gets found and in reality you might have 1 or 2 people who look for your cam spots exactly. Plus those cam spots might only work based on ur style of play and won’t work for everyone. So your precious cams will be just fine

With the report reviewing system you should get like 5-20 renown (or more) to review gameplay, to make sure people actually have a reason to review

metaldiabolos86 every cam spot eventually gets found and in reality you might have 1 or 2 people who look for your cam spots exactly. Plus those cam spots might only work based on ur style of play and won’t work for everyone. So your precious cams will be just fine

Smoke grenades in defense is viable because it is area denial, something that already exists and works in the game (smoke and goyo). But tbh I have low expectations for the devs so.
An defense operator that would stop for 2-3 seconds and then camouflage into their background like a lesion trap

What about an attacking operator, that has advanced claymores, the ultimate flank protector, has 3-4 of them, but they’re way harder to see, and more effective, they could even be used to breach soft walls and deal flak damage within the room up to like 8m of the breach. Just an idea somebody expand if it makes sense lmao😂
