Always a thumbs down whenever Ontario is Top 5. It's shit. The total income is based on size and some affluent regions which skew numbers. It's a have-not province. For quality of life and value it's arguably 8th or 9th. Alberta is far away #1. I'd argue New Brunswick is 2nd.
Been to Canada 3 times. Summer, Autumn and Winter. There is no way i could live there permanently when Sydney's winter's are bad enough. In September/October 2023 i visited Ontario, Quebec, BC and Alberta. To a tourist they all looked great. But, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver all have so many homeless and mentally unstable people on their streets that makes these places reflect what is really happening. PLEASE, CANADA - include your taxes in the shelf price and dont add it at the register - it is SO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!
I'm from quebec, but I'm not sure if we rank at number 1. Taxes are very high and the price for a house is crazy. Rents also are very high. The government is socialist. the city of montreal is unrecognizable. Mayor Plante is going crazy with the spending and she is changing streets directions, making you force to turn, and ending up on big boulevard with a tun of traffic. dropping speed on most street to 30kh. removing parking space to make bike lanes. property taxes are also rising every year... I use to love montreal and now I'm thinking for the first time in my life to move somewhere else.
So because Montreal is getting better by becoming a more people oriented as opposed to car oriented city you don’t like it? Someone in the 50’s would have also said it was becoming unrecognizable as it became a car oriented city. Places change over time.
@@k123dev the best cities for humand and the most liveable ones had reduced inner city private motor vehicle usage, it's common sense. if someone lives in the inner city, didnt had to use a car for move for few minuts of travel in first place.
@@Tonyx.yt. agreed, I’ve lived in both pedestrian oriented cities in Europe and in Ottawa which is very car dependent. The pedestrian oriented European cities offered more healthy, fulfilling, and free lifestyles.
10 province and 3 territory. The major difference between a Canadian province and a territory is that provinces receive their power and authority from the Constitution Act, 1867 (formerly[1] called the British North America Act, 1867), whereas territories are federal territories whose governments are creatures of statute with powers delegated to them by the Parliament of Canada.

wow that sound awesome!
rents very high? quebec had basically the lower rents by average, i mean after NF and co. but you get the point, rents are far cheaper than ON or BC

Isn't there 13 provinces?
