$2800/month is approximately $150 per day. When you have a strategy that brings in that amount daily consistently you know you have your monthly amount.

Absolutely! Both backtesting and forward testing have their place! Keep up the good work!
I only say back testing is crap because execution is everything and people cherry pick back test set ups when in real time they wouldn’t have taken the trade. I think everyone needs to be in the driver seat live with real money to see if they have what it takes

00:59 He was a great guest but using a "market crash" event (as in abnormal market behavior) as an initial inspiration is setting up for false expectations, it's similar to anyone who tries to play data releases, I think that's why they run gambling commercials on TV around NFPs. When the market is crashing, forex traders are usually making pretty insane money. Call it abnormal market behavior and it might not happen like it did in 2008 ever again but if it does. Imagine a day where you could short USD with a huge lot size with the GUARANTEE that you’ll cash out.
@@Mangobrain82 Of course you're right, if you're on the sidelines with cash, and waiting potentially for months or years (and using fundamentals to guide your decisions). It comes down to methodology and expectations. Like how EURUSD had a < 50 pip ADR for quite a long time, even in its downtrend. And since Forex is so well-controlled and managed, it's normal in a crosscurrency to be up 70+ pips on a 200-300ish pip weekly move, then to be up < 10 pips, then have to wait 4-5 sessions before any follow through shows up.
stdio44.3 your biggest mistake would be trading EURUSD in a market crash honestly but in any conditions, why would you play with the most manipulated pairs in the world.
I'm laughing at the timing of my own comment from last week about the "sleepy EURUSD", as if I blindly went long at any point of Monday Asia, I still would have been up >200 pips by Friday's close. For my next contrary indicator... 🤣🤣
You coudl advise people to trade on etoro, if enough people copy you you get 500-1000$ per month depending on how much money u manage, on the highest tier u also get 2% of the money u manage every year ... So even if u dont have the capital u can live from trading ...

Well yea it's possible to make more than 2800 a month but that's a ton of risk
