Considering that someone was allegedly able to play by using a pair of candles, it probably doesn't make all that much of a difference. The sensor bar doesn't do anything but emit Infrared light from two LEDs.
You are absolutely right. This is a candle upgrade if you will. As I said I think its a situational unit but still useful for my case. Thanks for the comment 😄
I apologize for not leaving a link. Tuboopy Wii Sensor Bar Wireless, Wiiu Infrared Ray Motion Sensor Bar for Wii/Wii U Console/PC (Black) a.co/d/0cfqQbU1
@@RetroGamerReviews thanks, I am also looking at a usb version. Wondering if it has better sensitivity and if it would work being powered by a power bank. I am moving my tv above fireplace but all my equipment will be on a stand over to the side of the room so I need one that I don't have to run a wire to the game unit.
@darlenesuarez7542 you know it probably would work with a power Bank. This unit is battery operated and doesn't need and special signal from the wii. Just turn it on. I'm curious about the USB option tho
Thanks for watching the review

Sorry for my late reply but thank you for the comment 😄 it's a very good unit. The old ones back in the day were pretty bad in my experience
