    I'd love to make the Atenas. I have a lot of old jean pants from family members that I'd like to upcycle into a jean jacket.

    Hello Karina 😊
    I really like your Atena jackets ( I also watched your extremely helpful older vlog.)
    The shape and details are exactly what I’d like. However, a shorter length suits me best - to my hip bone.

    Jackets are also my favorite garment to see. Afterall, unless you take it off, most people see it and not what is underneath. (I live in a northern hemisphere) I just finished a utility jacket which I made from cotton twill and has a waistband at the bottom and four front expandable pockets. I'm very excited to yours completed and modeled by you.

    Hi Karina. My daughter has to get infusions weekly and the infusion center is very cold. She asked me if I could make her a shirt with zippers on both sleeves. Do you have any ideas for something like that? Thanks.

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  3 года назад +1

      I imagine the drip goes in the crease of the arm? I’d divide the sleeve in two and put a zipper there from top to bottom.

    (Oops, I pressed the “send” button by mistake, on my comment a minute ago)
    I’m guessing I’d need to shorten it by about 5cm. Do you think that’s possible?
    What do you think?
    Thankyou Karina 🌸

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  3 года назад

      You’d have to forget about the welt pocket if you shorten it (or else it will end up under your bust). It is possible to shorten it for sure, there are shorten and lengthen lines. Yo shorten 2”, I’d do it in two places to not distort the shape too much.
